When I was on Ocella I had the WORST breast pain for the full 2 weeks before my period. Due to the pain and the depression I suffered while on Ocella I switched to Reclipsen. I still have slight breast tenderness the week before my period, but it's so slight that it doesn't even bother my that much. Some months, I don't even have the pain at all.
Speak to your doctor if the pain doesn't subside during the next few cycles. You may need to switch brands.

Did you make sure to give the pills (when you tried both ocella and lybrel) a few cycles to work? I know it's annoying, and in the mean time you have a life to contend with... But sometimes it takes a while for these things to work. It's weird that ocella (generic Yasmin, I think) would make you bleed, because that is usually one they give to women who have problems with breakthrough bleeding. How long did you try it before you quit?
I have been on Ocella for the past 10 months. I'm finding that the past few months I am consistently anxious and depressed. I am concerned that it could be the birth control that I am on. I would like to know if there are any b.c. pills that limit this side effect. I also find that my libido is less strong. All of these symptoms are affecting my relationship. Any suggestions?
Recently I switched to nights and I've found it difficult to maintain taking my birth control on time ( I've been on ocella for years). Before my bf and I started having sex I had one very brown only slightly bloody period for a few days. We had sex for the first time (protected) around June 12 and around June 23 I had very dark brown bleeding for about 2-3 days. too early for my period. I'm worried it may be implantation bleeding.
I am currently on Ocella (generic for Yasmin), I have been on it for almost a month, I start the inactive pills tomorrow night. Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). My last period lasted for 3-4 days. I should start my period on March 11th. I recently had an ultrasound which showed I have a 7.4 cm cyst on my right ovary and a 2.5 cm cyst on my left ovary. I had been having painful periods for about 8 months. It was sort of a dull, burning pain mostly in my right hip, but spread through my whole abdomen during periods.
Earlier in May I missed three days of my pills and started to bleed. So I stopped taking it because I was going into my placebo week. I had my period then stopped for a day or two then started spotting that's never happen to me. I got my new pack and started taking them and now I feel nauseous as ever and I'm in my second week going to my third week...
Gianvi is the same formulation as Yaz, execept in generics fillers are different. Ocella is supposed to be the same as Yasmine, but fillers are diferrent and I reacted differently on ocella. Yaz has 24 pils and Yasmine 21. Yaz is supposed to take care of the PMDD symtoms better.
10. My MIND is a lot cleared on YAZ but the side effects and physical effects are unhealthy and I have not been able to engage in excercise etc because of the symtoms.
I was having these symptoms about three months ago, and colonoscopy was done about one month later when another episode began, the biopsies came out normal and of course last week I found out why.
I am on birth control pills
A week after my withdraw bleed my breasts were still sore and I got really bad nausea and dizziness just at night when I laid down. That turned into diarrhea for two days.
Now, my breasts are sore all over and my nipples are tender to touch. Every now and then I get a pinching sensation in my breasts near my nipples. The nausea has been gone for about two days, and the dizziness hasn't been too bad.
Could this be pregnancy or is something wrong?
Although they claim to not have any difference, I was on Yasmin (brand name) for a while and then was switched too Ocella (Generic) and I did notice slight changes in my period. In fact, I never missed a single period on Yasmin, but did miss one while on Ocella. The blue veins, I mean if your fair skin like me, I notice the veins all the time. Sometimes they are bluer then normal, but you can't always go by that being a symptom of pregnancy.
Im 34 weeks today! I'm having so much pain and pressure in my lower pelvic/stomach area and my back is killing me. What could this be?
Yup I have it too. Im 36 weeks and im in soooo much pain. I tryed stretching in mornings and jsut b4 I go to bed and that seems to help a lil..
My wife also had radiation for rectal cancer about 10yrs ago and was radiated through both hips the rectum and the vagina. She now has pain in the lower region of her vagina and it comes and goes but lately has gotten worse.

It makes walking almost impossible and I climb the stairs like my 75 year old grandma. It doesn't feel like growing pains. I continue to stretch, take baths, and tylenol. Is there anything else I can do? I'm at my breaking point.
It depends on the pain your feeling and where exactly in your pelvis, my baby hasn't fully dropped but I'm 60% effaced and a little over 1cm dilated. I had pelvic pain too and that's what my doctor told me was happening.
