ocella and bloating

I am still the same weight but now I look almost pregnant, and i am positive i am not, but my stomach sticks out so much from bloating and it is making me miserable as well. I just want it to go away. Should I talk to my doctor about switching birth control meds? If so which ones wont make you bloated!!!

I am trully deceptioned. I am thinking on not taking Lybrel anymore, it's not reaching its purpose. I am miserable. The worse part of it is my doctor! When I told her about lybrel she gave me a perplexed look. Mind you, she's a gynecologist! I had to bring her a print out, and this was on my second appointment. In the beginning she prescribed ocella, I stoped because it was making me bleed. She told me that I shouldn't had stoped because it was my body adapting to the pill.

Hello.. I been on Ocella for almost 2 months. and ever since I started taking it my breast have been very sore, there are days where I can not even sleep or stand having my bra on thru out the day. They hurt if I touch them, run or make any fast move. I did get my period which it was not that heavy being that I hadnt had a period for over a year. Could that be the problem?

The only medicine she was taken was the birth control pill, Ocella. She was overweight, and at times showed signs of high blood pressure, otherwise healthy. I want to know if there is any relation between seizures and birth control pills. Any information is greatly appreciated. Thank you.

I was wondering if switching birth control pills could have helped maximize the anxiety. I switched from yaz to ocella and have only been on ocella for a few months and the anxiety started like a month ago.

I have been on Ocella for the past 10 months. I'm finding that the past few months I am consistently anxious and depressed. I am concerned that it could be the birth control that I am on. I would like to know if there are any b.c. pills that limit this side effect. I also find that my libido is less strong. All of these symptoms are affecting my relationship. Any suggestions?

I am currently on Ocella (generic for Yasmin), I have been on it for almost a month, I start the inactive pills tomorrow night. Before I took Ocella, I was taking Yaz(and I switched immediatly). My last period lasted for 3-4 days. I should start my period on March 11th. Okay, I am on the birth control Ocella and I just got done with my period a week or so ago. My boyfriend and I had sex sunday and he came in me, then yesterday we did it twice and he came in me both times. I'm worried about possibly being pregnant. Is it possible to get pregnant even if i take my pill everyday at the same time all the time??

Earlier in May I missed three days of my pills and started to bleed. So I stopped taking it because I was going into my placebo week. I had my period then stopped for a day or two then started spotting that's never happen to me. I got my new pack and started taking them and now I feel nauseous as ever and I'm in my second week going to my third week...

But I thought I would ask, is anyone that has PCOS symptoms (high testosterone, insulin resistance) and on BCP on any other BCP besides Yasmin, and does it control PCOS symptoms? Have you seen any side effects?

Also I am very prone to migraines and have at least three headaches a week in addition to severe lower back pain and occasional swelling of my hands of I eat too much salt, and I lose feeling in my fingers and.toes randomly. IBS also runs in my immediate family. Please help!

Recently I switched to nights and I've found it difficult to maintain taking my birth control on time ( I've been on ocella for years). Before my bf and I started having sex I had one very brown only slightly bloody period for a few days. We had sex for the first time (protected) around June 12 and around June 23 I had very dark brown bleeding for about 2-3 days. too early for my period. I'm worried it may be implantation bleeding.

A week after my withdraw bleed my breasts were still sore and I got really bad nausea and dizziness just at night when I laid down. That turned into diarrhea for two days. Now, my breasts are sore all over and my nipples are tender to touch. Every now and then I get a pinching sensation in my breasts near my nipples. The nausea has been gone for about two days, and the dizziness hasn't been too bad. Could this be pregnancy or is something wrong?

Although they claim to not have any difference, I was on Yasmin (brand name) for a while and then was switched too Ocella (Generic) and I did notice slight changes in my period. In fact, I never missed a single period on Yasmin, but did miss one while on Ocella. The blue veins, I mean if your fair skin like me, I notice the veins all the time. Sometimes they are bluer then normal, but you can't always go by that being a symptom of pregnancy.

im also 14 and on ocella, a birthcontrol pill, the pills DO NOT stop your period, it just makes it less then a usual week, mine is 5 days. Now the DEPO shot, you may have your period non stop for about a month, the horomnoes in the shot finishes cleaning you out...

Pills (starting and stopping) and sickness can definitely cause your hormones to fluctuate and could definitely cause your period to be delayed.

I was having these symptoms about three months ago, and colonoscopy was done about one month later when another episode began, the biopsies came out normal and of course last week I found out why.

Because a lot of my patients at work and staff as well have complained of bloating. I’m constantly having to give my patients Maalox for the bloating and I get bloating as well when I’m at work or if I’m hanging out with my friends and talking to them. Ive had PATM for over 10 years and never noticed bloating or nausea to be a problem until recently. Does anyone else have this bloating issue with PATM ?

Lupron causes increase in certain hormones, and these hormones may increase further with self stimulation/masturbation. Diarrhea, bloating and gas are side effects of Lupron and with increased hormone production, this can get aggravated. However, it could also be due to something you ate causing indigestion or a mild case of food poisoning. It is difficult to diagnose this on net. Please discuss with your treating doctor. Take care!
