Avatar f tn Where should I workout?? Should I just tough trough it and get a gym membership? The problem is there has to be a gym that is open at 11 since that would be my only time to workout. Avatar f tn Yes as you may know C section may play a bigger role than you think since some of the muscles need to get stretched to accommodate the baby. As you may know Yoga workouts and core workouts are important but you need to activate specify muscles around your waist. Those muscles are named the oblique muscles. The muscles need to be strong, activated so when you start dropping body fat you will see how your waist drops significantly.
Avatar n tn Ive always done whatever workouts I did before prior to being pregant up until about the 2nd trimester, as long as I had the energy for it. Strong abs really help during labor. But you shouldnt be laying on your back after around the 2nd trimester anyway. Some suggestions are on the exercise ball or plank holds because it strengthenes your core. But you have to keep it mild, no straining. Anytime you feel strained, stop.
Avatar n tn Ok mate here's a massive prevention (maybe not a cure but DEFINATELY HELPS me), Interesting, but I think I may have found it. After 2 and a half years of this same stupid problem I decided to have a go at simply sucking on strong mints such as eclipse blue. I'll chew on acouple before I workout to get the cool clear sensation in my mouth and nose and sit acouple in my mouth as I workout. this seems to cool my air intake and stop the gagging while i workout.
Avatar f tn You want those muscles strong, but not inflamed. Light plank holds and exercise ball workouts are good. Plus I find its really easy to oull an ab with all the relaxin and round ligament pain. Let you abs relax drink something with some sugar and see if he gets moving around again.

I asked her if boot camp classes and spin is still okay (by two favorite) she said as long and I'm monitoring I can do whatever I feel like as long as it is safe and I am not over heating (no more kick boxing).

Avatar n tn ve been reading that CSC is associated with high cortisol levels. Will strength training and cardio workouts hinder my recover due to higher cortisol output? Will one cup of coffee a day have an adverse effect on the cortisol level? I was also reading a study that showed aspirin has sped up the recovery of CSC.
