20794198 tn?1534529493 hi group, am 23 years old, male, caucasian, very athletically fit. part-take in about 4 hiit workouts a week in general. resting heart rate of about 50bpm. i noticed my legs, mainly my knee joints, inner ankle bone and hip/groin have these 'come and go' aching pains. its enough for me to think "corr thats aching abit now, ill sit down or stretch out". it started about a month before even starting regular hiit workouts, and hasnt improved since.
Avatar m tn t been taking protein powder after my workouts as well and relied mostly on my diet for my protein needs. My nutrition plan isn't a strict plan either. I just want to know if my workouts have anything to do with these random muscle occurrences? This has really been bothering me and tbh, anxiety most likely also has played a role in this as well. I get extremely worried especially at night when it feels like my arms and legs are possessed and being controlled.
Avatar f tn I downloaded the apps "Daily Workouts free" and "Lose Weight Fitness and Workouts", those two apps have a ton of workouts for targeted areas or your whole body. They are also short videos so they show you how your body is supposed to be positioned. Daily Workouts also times you in intervals. Hope this helps if you're able to download apps. I also have the app "Fitness Buddy", but I haven't looked at it as much, that one looks more targeted towards men.

Avatar f tn Select whole grain breads, rice and pastas over refined grains, and eat fresh fruits and vegetables. For protein, eat lean meats, eggs, fish and nuts, and choose low-fat dairy products. No salty foods, soda, sugary juice, and candy. Choose fruits and vegetables instead. Be careful with the fruit some are high in sugar. Google the following exercises to see how to perform them!
Avatar n tn Just 2 days ago I performed a leg workout, and came home with a dull ache and stiffness in my left inner calf/ inner lower knee part as well, Not excruciating pain or anything, just a dull pain. The next day, different parts of my left calf, and hamstring have been twitching all day, when I am just sitting or laying. My right leg has also been a little bit too, but not near as much as my left leg.
Avatar f tn s daily, CA x1/day, drink lots of water but for some reason I continue to get quarter size bruises on my inner thighs and quads not to mention the inner sides of my upper arms (biceps) I get lots of these that just appear out of no where and they stay for days, sometimes they are a bit sore as if I hit something but I KNOW I did not. I only take ibprophen on occasion for soreness sooo what is the deal, they are very annoying and I have no known illnesses that could cause it, I feel great!

Avatar f tn m an 18-year-old runner preparing for a 10K (if you have any tips for more effective workouts go ahead) so my tights (exept for the inner thigh) are well trained. I'd like to work on my abs (unfortunately hidden between a layer of fat),arms (exept for biceps and a little shoulders I don't have much to brag about) and back (I'm having some back pain lately and need to work on my posture). So... Any advice or exercise I could do? :) Thanks a lot.
Avatar m tn i have this rash on my inner arms raised red bumps and looks like blisters and is very shiny when looked at and it only seems to itch at night i have had it now for about 2 mounths and it seems to be spreading i have been on steroids to control it but since i have come of them now it itches like crazy lol im 21 anybody got any ideas what it can be.
7998970 tn?1435183202 Nothing hard core (crunches of any sort), but workouts that engage your core for balance and stability are okay (yoga, tai chi, Pilates, etc...) and were actually reccomended for me. I didn't do them because I felt like a hippo, and my abdominal wall has since torn from lack of, well...anything. Right above my belly button it's bruised and you can feel an indentation where the sides have separated from each other.
Avatar f tn If you are really out of shape, do mild activities for a prolonged amount of time, for example, go for a slow walk for an hour, rather than a brisk walk for ten minutes and you will burn more fat that way. The longer you get the aerobic system working for, the more fat you burn. The more in shape you become, the more aggressive activities you will be able to do while being able to breathe deeply - oxygen is the key to being aerobic and burning fat.

Avatar f tn I worked out 4-56 times a week and now I can barely get 3 workouts in. I even made a schedule for a specific pregnancy workout I found on pinterest and walking and elliptical. We just have to listen to our bodies I guess! I felt Bette when I went to the doctor today because they told me to work out 3 maybe 4 days a week and only for a maximum 20 min..
Avatar m tn I was feeling a lump in my throat a few weeks ago and it made my workouts difficult. One day i then made it worse by rushing my shoulder workout which left my neck feeling tight and swollen. I then felt dizzy and stopped working out. I rested for about a week and now i can't seem to have a proper workout without feeling light headed, tingly face feeling, sinus blocked, ear blocked, face goes a bit numb. I have been working out for 3 years and have never experienced anything like this.
Avatar f tn Prenatal yoga is great for strengthening all the muscles you're gonna use during labour and for focusing on your breathing. I've been swimming a lot during my pregnancy as it feels so nice to exercise without feeling the weight of your belly. Walking as often as possible is also good. These are the only exercises I did but depends on your ability and fitness level. I had breathlessness throughout my preg so anything else was too much much me.

Avatar f tn Swimming is really the best workout when pregnant. I personally stopped swimming (because it's quite expensive here) when we got a dog when I was 4 months pregnant so now I'm still walking 2-3 hours everyday at 37 weeks pregnant and I've gained about 28 lbs (I'm quite tall). Hope you find something that works for you!

It's been a week since then and now I can't move my arms to make them straight, they stay in a 45 degree way and it is excruciatingly painful when I try to make them straight or bend them; I basically can't move my arms without any pain and it's making me go absolutely crazy! I need help!
