915119 tn?1341948989 s a little too soon to think about this, but what are your diet plans after the baby is born? I definitly have to get on a diet as I have gained a lot of weight. When I had my last daughter I got on the "Herbalife" diet and lost all my baby weight plus about 15 extra pounds but I want to consider other diets before getting on that strict "Herbalife" diet. It's hard for me because I am a picky eater, but I want to eat healthy!! Any suggestions?? What are your plans?
Avatar f tn Getting through that frame of mind is really difficult. You could try keeping a workout journal or putting up post its to remind you of the buzz you get after exercise or the achievements you've made. Likewise you can make plans to exercise with a friend at least once a week, even just a walk. The socialising will boost your mood as well as the exercise and it's a good way to prevent any unmotivated changes in plans because of the expectation to meet up.

Avatar n tn I have been going to the gym about 4 times a week. I usually do the elliptical for 30 minutes an then go to the weight room and do arm and leg machines. For some reason I am still struggling with losing weight and I have also been watching what I eat. Some say I do too much of a repetition and my body is used to the work out. I need some good work out plans to help me!

Avatar n tn You can lay on your back for a small amount of time, i sometimes does off in this position for maybe 15 minutes or so. The reason they say you cant lay on your back after 21 weeks is because the placenta is so heavy at that point that it pinches a nerve in your spine, as well as cut off a small amount of blood flow, which alot of women find means tingling in the legs, or numbness, and can cause fainting and/or dizziness.
Skulleton Thanks for your response I am not trying to loose weight I just need a healty diet for energy to workout at the gym and keep my weight I am 5'4 and am at 150lbs I need a diet that will help me gain muscle and loose weight. Thank for your feedback Dr.
Avatar f tn I figure if women did without for thousands of years and my mom was able to pop out a 10 lb baby me all natural then I should be able to do the same. :) A plan is just that though, a plan. When the time comes they may not have time to set me up or any number of other things can go wrong. That's why I say I'm hoping for the water birth.
Avatar f tn Gave a copy to the nurse and made extra copies for other shifts. A great thing I heard about later on was to bring a small gift for the nurses to hand out when you give them your birth plan. It could be as simple as candy or gift card.

Avatar f tn Hi Les, welcome to the forum here. Idon't believe we have crossed paths yet - or at least that's what my faulty memory is telling me. Not knowing your personal situation it is a bit hard to offer suggestions that might work for you. I have one that I like that is Women's Health Total Workout in Ten! It is broken into ten minute segments- cardio, upper body, lower body and flexibility/balance. You can pick out the routine that you want to work on or do them all.

Avatar f tn So I just made my Birth Plan (using the of wisdom the nurse writes about on her blog about unnecessary medical interventions that put women at risk for c-sections and other problems) and I'm quite proud of it. I tried to make it as simple as possible and click as few buttons as possible so it was easy to read and digest. I never had a Birth Plan with my daughters. I felt weird about it, like I was bossing the nurses around.
Avatar f tn Losing 10 lbs in two weeks is very unhealthy for you, but if your really dead set on it run A LOT, cardio and lifting, try some calisthenics, sweat is your fat crying make that b***h cry!!, there's a lot of at home and gym workout plans and tips and ideas on Instagram just type in weightlose and it pops up, Goodluck!!..

Below are a couple of suggestions to aid in that process. You should start by observing what you eat and the size of the portions. Keeping a food diary of everything you consume (food and drinks) for just one week will train you to be mentally aware.
