Avatar f tn I workout everyday with a pregnancy pilates video. I did pilates everyday before becoming pregnant. It Keeps you toned and prepares you for delivery.
Avatar f tn Getting through that frame of mind is really difficult. You could try keeping a workout journal or putting up post its to remind you of the buzz you get after exercise or the achievements you've made. Likewise you can make plans to exercise with a friend at least once a week, even just a walk. The socialising will boost your mood as well as the exercise and it's a good way to prevent any unmotivated changes in plans because of the expectation to meet up.
Avatar f tn I really feel motivated to exercise and workout the muscles that haven't been used in probably 8 years. lol! Back when I was 14-17 I would join my father in the gym, but his trainer gave me different things to do to just be fit and toned. I do have some equipment at my house and my husband works crazy hours so we can't just go to a gym. Plus, I would like to look semi-decent to be able to even show up at a gym. (Yea, I've let myself go that bad.

6727262 tn?1384982855 If you make one write/type it out. Doctors and nurses do not like the pint out check box ones. I made one with my daughter and we put down things like I didn't want any pain medication, and if I did I would ask I don't want them asking me. I want to be able to walk around if I felt like it, daddy would cut the cord if it was possible(our daughter pooped so they cut her cord as soon as she was out) and I didn't want her on my belly until she was cleaned off. Good luck.

7892775 tn?1395673991 Well was supposed to go get my hair cut and everything before I have this baby. But suddenly I'm here with diarrhea that came out of no where. It would be nice if my body would cooperate with me. Maybe I should try and go anyway because I have someone on the way to drive me and my hair is such a mess and who knows when I'll get to it once baby is here.
Avatar n tn Some say I do too much of a repetition and my body is used to the work out. I need some good work out plans to help me!
Skulleton If you were my patient, I would advise you to check into a few different weight loss plans--that way when you get bored with one, you can move to another. Believe it or not, Weight Watchers is one of the absolute best success stories around--probably because it is more than a diet--it teaches you to change your bad eating habits. Hope this helps!
Avatar f tn I run 5 to 7 miles 5 days a week and just found out I'm pregnant. Am I gonna have to completely stop running and just walk or find a different work out routine?
649848 tn?1534633700 Just a hint about being tired and still getting your workout in.... will you have time to get the workout out of the way early in the morning before work? That works for a lot of people. You do it first while you still have the energy.... For me, regardless of the time of day and what my schedule has in store for me, the hardest part of my workout is getting to the gym. After I am there, its no sweat! Good luck and stay at it!

Avatar n tn The reason they say you cant lay on your back after 21 weeks is because the placenta is so heavy at that point that it pinches a nerve in your spine, as well as cut off a small amount of blood flow, which alot of women find means tingling in the legs, or numbness, and can cause fainting and/or dizziness.

2217782 tn?1394363972 Try changing the types of food you eat, instead of eating less food. You can load up on fresh veggies for almost no calories, if you don't use rich sauces or toppings on them Also, make sure you get plenty of lean protein and some "good" fats, at every meal, because protein helps keep you feeling fuller, while the fats help you to feel satisfied. Limit fruit to 1-2 servings/day, and make sure you eat whole fruit, because of the filling fiber.
1302038 tn?1439575232 I have been going to the gym 4 days a week for 40min classes
Avatar f tn Hey you need to cut calories but make sure you still have at least 3 meals a day, preferable 5. And you need to workout, cardio to get fat burning and strength (weights) to fill lost fat with muscel. So there is no more room for fat to come back..
461838 tn?1255790216 I keep trying to work through the pain, too, but it gets more difficult with time. I've really seen a noticeable decline in the past year. When I lived on the farm, I worked through the pain cuz I had to...hauling firewood, feed, what have you.... I thought I woosed out when I moved into town last year, but now I realize the the timing was right. I started walking to work, a 3 mile jaunt round trip...nothing too strenuous, but it's helped. At least from the waist down anyway.
Avatar f tn m 30 weeks pregnant 21 years old ftm and expected to have a c section due to my blood pressure being so elevated..
Avatar f tn d suggest you join a gym that has a full menu of exercise equipment like cardio machines (doing the same form of exercise will get boring and cause your muscles to adapt to that one form of exercise and eventually you will see less and less progress), freevweights, strength, and core equipment. I don't know your level of fitness so I can just give some general guidelines. I'd suggest that for every day you walk you do a day of strength/core training on the next day.
Avatar f tn Since you have underwent cesarean section couple of weeks ago, you need to slow down on the exercise program. Speak to your gyneacologist to get examined to see the scar if it has completely healed and can withstand sudden exertions. If you want to plan, do take advise of an physical therapist who can well plan. It is common to gain little weight in pregnancy and may come back to normal in couple of months. Can you post your blood pressuer record and lipid profile if done?
Avatar f tn m thinking YWCA, or similar. First thing you should do is get a workout partner. Nothing makes you stick to a plan like a partner that wants it too. The local gym/YWCA may have fitness classes and or exercise plans designed for your needs. Check it out before you get discouraged.
