Do you have any hives or rash? Have you gone hiking and maybe brushed against a plant you may be allergic too. It sounds much like an allergy to something. If you can take benedryl at night. It will help with the sleeping and the itching. Cortisone topical may help but be sure to not get it in your eyes or on your face. Have you changed your laundry detergent? There must be something new. If not it is from a plant or a new shirt or something like that. A new perfume, makeup. New medicine?
Have anyone got to the point where your whole body itch? It not around my stomach,so I know it not because I'm having stretch mark. My leg, arms, hand, and everywhere itchy. I've been itching for a couple of weeks now, and there are no rashes anywhere, but my whole body's itchy along with my scalp, and I have a couple of bumps in a few places. (legs, hips, and lower back.) when I itch the area that's itchy it turns red and gets puffy and gets white welt type things that itch that are puffy, but it all goes away after a half hour, but gets itchy again later. It's the worst at night and it's the worst on my back, neck, and arms.
I woke up this morning with a pinkish-red rash on my whole body. My arms, stomach, lower back, thighs, hips....
Its itches a little on places like the inside of my elbow and where my bra is rubbing under my arm pit.... but generally it doesnt itch. In some spots it looks like red pin dots but also blotchy.....

Since the itching is present over the whole body and that too without any visible rash, so I would like to rule out dry skin or xerosis in your case. Dry skin usually results from environmental factors that you can wholly or partially control. These include hot or cold weather with low humidity levels, long-term use of air conditioning or central heating, and washing or bathing too much.
Take some anti itch lotion and apply it all over the body.
Fungal infections like tinea corporis and tinea cruris too cause whole body itching along with genital itching. Liver problems too can cause generalized itching.
If the itch is only in the exposed part, it can also be due to sun allergy. Pubic and body lice can be another cause. Worms are another cause of both anal and body itch and hence get a stool test.

after about a week, I started to feel similar pain in larger area of groin and armpet. Days later the pain slowly generalized to my whole body. near elbow, my whole leg(mostly inner side), around knee, then spreading to fingers and toes. It does not feel like muscle/joint pain. some ache is within the muscle right above my knee, but some happens on my bones. for example, on the back of my hand, on the finger between joints.
It started spreading everywhere on my body. After a couple of hours, my whole body was covered with these red bumpy rash. I got scared so i went to my doctor and he prescribed me 3 50 mg of prednisone to take daily. I did what he told me and the rash did get better. On the second day of taking prednisone, I noticed that my skin was just really red. There was no inflation of the skin. After a few hours, my skin started to clear up and had no more red spots or any sort of rash on it.
