Avatar m tn 20 pounds weight loss on a little Yorkie? Are you sure? He cant have lost so much weight!...but never mind the deails...the best idea is to take him to the vet, and ask the vet to do a full blood profile. There are a few reasons why a dog starts to drink more water, eat more, and yet lose weight. Let the vet find out what is wrong, and begin treating your dog straight away, and hopefully there will be a great improvement.

Avatar f tn I don't know what to do, so I need everyone's opinion. I have a 5 year yorkie 8lbs..... My yorkie was perfectly normal, playing, eating, drinking etc. The only problem she had was a pee problem where when she was sleeping she would become wet on her bottom but it wasn't yellow and it didn't smell like pee. We took her to the vet and they prescribed Proin and it helped. They never ran blood because she had no symptoms of anything wrong.
Avatar f tn I have an older Yorkie. very sensitive skin..lately extremely bad flea prob. I use dawn dish soap, instant flea killer. I know bathing Maddie, my Yorkie, frequent is not good. I have no other thoughts about giving her relief from fleas. her skin has become bright red, past irritated, blotchy? and there's sore type things. looks like weird ant bites & recently noticed a dime size hard white mass, idk what to call it, on her front paw. I possibly can def be over thinking these issues.
Avatar f tn My sister has a yorkie and is thinking about breeding it with teacup yorkie like those found on teacupyorkiedogs.com is this drooling problem genetic or is it just a simple health issue that can arise in any yorkie?
Avatar n tn I wouldn't listen to the weight chart thing, I'm nearly 35 weeks amd ever since a set up this app it has been telling me av been gaining too much weight, av never worried as think it is probably better to be gaining to much than not enough.
783304 tn?1283395088 I was just wondering if there was a way to go back to my weight tracker in 2009? It kept my info of my starting weight and my goal but I can't seem to see my chart.

Avatar n tn A three pound Yorkie is EXTREMELY small. Look at it this way, the difference between a four pound Yorkie and a three pound Yorkie is the same as the difference between a person who weighs 100 pounds and a person who weighs 75 pounds! When it comes to being able to carry a litter of puppies and deliver them safely, that one pound makes a BIG difference!

Avatar f tn That depends on your frame size, as well as your age. Your frame size is how large your bones are. Here's a bit of height weight chart, that pertains to your height, but only if you are an adult female. If you're not an adult, the figures would be different.
Avatar f tn I have 2 dogs, a Maltese and a Yorkie. They will both be turning 1 Dec. 16, and we got them both together so they have grown up together and all that. The maltese is a bit more shy and reserved while my yorkie is more out going and yappy. I have always been more attached to the maltese cuz he's more sweet, hes a mommy's boy and the yorkie likes my husband more since they play rough and is a bit aggressive.

Avatar f tn The chart on this website says I am above the normal weight is that a bad thing? I was underweight before getting pregnant.
Avatar m tn s not a good idea to start with heavy weight right on. So when you start you should be doing 2X12 or 15 with light weight then gradually increase weight then go for 3X12 and when you feel comfortable you can go for mass building which is 2X6 or 7 with heavy weights. To know what is the appropriate weight you have to be barely able to lift the 6th or 7th repetition. If you have no problem doing all the 7 repetitions then it's time to add weight.
Avatar n tn I am 41year old ,my height 5.9inches and weight 80kg.please suggest diet chart.
Avatar n tn Hi, my husband's height is 5'11", 32 years old and his weight is 107kg. Will you please suggest a complete effective diet chart and a exercise routine to loose at least 7 kg within a month. He has to work a lot. So only one hour he can spend on his exercise time. So what will be the effective exercises on that one hour. And please again suggest a complete diet chart and routine of the whole day meal.
Avatar n tn The added muscle will increase your metabolism which in turn will lead to increased consumption of calories per day to maintain that weight. You may consult a nutritionist and get a diet chart made which will provide you adequate calories in a healthy way. Avoid taking any supplements as they can be damaging to both your physical and mental health. If you are having a good diet and are free from any illness you should not be worried about your weight.
Avatar f tn Hello...I'm so sorry to hear about your dog. I had a yorkie poo that passed away of kidney failure two years ago and that was the hardest thing for me!!!! I gave him moist food (canned food) that was by Science Diet. I believe it says Kidney on the front of the can. That was a hard time for me and I really hope everything works out for you. I found out in January 2016 that my yorkie poo had kidney disease and he was PERFECTLY OKAY, I was so shocked, and within four months he passed away.
