Common Questions and Answers about Weight chart pomeranian

Avatar f tn My white pomeranian also loves rabbit poop and we stop her when we see her but she's very fast and loves to play outside. My newest problem though is that she can't stop scratching and licking her skin which is getting very pink, and has some stomach issues. I remembered that our yard was recently fertilized, (supposedly organic), but even so, the rabbits are eating all the new green grass and so my dog must be getting large doses of nitrogen in the droppings.
1623561 tn?1299944237 My sweet 14 year old Pomeranian had an episode of Congestive Heart Failure 2 weeks ago. He was treated successfully and responded well to the Lasix, etc. However, when he had his follow-up work a few days later, his kidney levels were bad - over 11 phosphorus, high BUN and creatinine. We took him to the hospital for hydration and the BUN came down to 87, creatinine a little above normal. On follow up a couple days later his BUN was 140, creatinine 2.8, and phosphorus normal.
203342 tn?1328740807 I have an 11year pomeranian/terrier/poodle mix. Not really sure as I rescued her from some homeless people 11 years ago at Lake Shasta, CA while on vacation. Of course her name is "Shasta". She has been my baby ever since. I found out that she had cushings about a year and a half ago. The doctor explained and I looked up the disease to find out more. I have opted to not go the medication route.
Avatar f tn Benadryl is also something of an anti-emetic, and can be given at 1 mg per pound of the dog's weight, but I doubt it will be very effective in the face of this kind of vomiting. Worth a try though. Another thing that helps is calcium - lots of it. I was giving Chica 2 Tums a day during her last couple of months. The calcium binds to phosphorus which is deadly to those in renal failure.
