Common Questions and Answers about Weight chart man

Avatar f tn I just got back from my growth ultrasound and he's a whopping 2 lbs 3oz! I looked up a chart for average fetal weight and it says the average at 26 weeks is 1.68lbs!
118074 tn?1228332603 Just keep introducing different food to your baby and let him eat the same kind for awhile before giving him a different one. He'll eventually start liking normal food and gaining weight. For the time being, for him to gain weight, lots of bubbas/breastmilk (whichever you're doing).
10389360 tn?1410827568 You can't use a BMI chart while you are pregnant because you naturally are going to gain weight while pregnant, so it is not your "true" weight. If you want to get a more accurate BMI result, use your pre-pregnancy weight, although BMI is a terrible way to measure normalcy - obesity since everyone is built different.
Avatar f tn I know there are several people here who can't seem to put weight on. I stay sick to my stomach a lot, also. I would think that would make me lose weight. I don't know. I am starting to get very concerned about it. That is probably one of the last things for me to be "worried" about, but I have a fear of being overweight like my mother and sister. I want to be as healthy as I can at the time. Thanks y'all for your support.
142722 tn?1281537216 If you want to eat healthier, in hope of not gaining alot of weight ask your doc for a chart to go by, i wished someone would had told me that with my first, i gained 60 lbs by the end of the pregnancy. With this one i'm 30 wks, and i've gained actually none, b/c due to me starting to eat right, i lost 8 lbs, and had just gained the 8lbs back at my last visit on dec 11th. So i'm sure i've gained a few more. Eating the right foods and eating the right portions really help.
Avatar n tn would it be so bad if I discontinued eating potatoes/pasta/bread on a regular basis (I wouldnt cut it out completey, just limit to maybe a day or two per week). I dont want to call this a diet for I am not looking to lose weight, I just want to slow down my gain. Any thoughts would be appreciated! Thank you!
2020005 tn?1476662562 I had her 6 month check up today and the doctor said she doesn't look malnourished, she looks healthy, but she's in the 25th percentile and her weight has kind of plateaued. I have to take her back in 6 weeks for a re-weigh. I'm so stressed and I feel so much pressure for her to gain weight. What can I do? I'm feeding her on demand, as always, starting solids, I'm wondering if her recently learning to crawl is burning some calories?
Avatar f tn You should only gain a little bit of weight while pregnant if your over weight.
Avatar n tn I have digenerative disc disease and my neirologist just prescribed topamax, he said it would help with the pain and tingling but could result in weight loss. I am wondering if prescribing topamax for ddd is common among neurologists? I can't seem to find any other information related to topamax as a pain med, only information I have is that it's a powerful drug with lots of side effects, most not so good. The weight loss aspect is the only plus...
Avatar n tn I would say that it is a 50/50 chance whether you would lose weight in the long run as the product wasn't designed as a weight loss product. (but I'm not a doctor so your dr. might be able to tell you what to expect).
2028721 tn?1356685603 I've copied a bit of a height/weight chart for you. Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'11" 146-157 154-166 161-184 Depending on your frame size (bone structure), you aren't so far overweight and you should really be happy that you were able to lose the 160 lbs.
167 tn?1374177417 I will be up around the 35 lb mark again by delivery...hopefully not more! Anyone else care to share their weight gain? Am I the only one who has gained 20?? Feeling FAT!
Avatar f tn I so want to lose that weight and be thin again. Does anyone have any tips. I have begun doing daily exercise, but I tend to eat at night, which I know is bad. Is there a vitamin supplement or something that reduces hunger?
Avatar n tn A quick look at a height/weight chart, says you can safely weigh anywhere between 123 and 163, depending on your bone structure. See below: Height Small Frame Medium Frame Large Frame 5'7" 123-136 133-147 143-163 Maybe what you really need is muscle toning rather than weight loss.
558787 tn?1327788888 Umm, so that mean my baby will likely be overweight? As of 6/12 he was weighing approximately 3 lbs .02 onz. If my math serves me correctly he will likely be close to 10 lbs and a few extra onz if I delivery at 40 weeks, OUCH, that's a big baby.
Avatar n tn Am on a very strict monitored 1000 cals per day For all I am doing 5 sessions per week plus walking and a power trainer the weight loss has stopped. I am shrinking in inches but not in pounds. My blood tests are just fine re hormones/thyroid etc, only had a test two weeks ago What am I doing wrong please? This is driving me nuts Any ideas as to how I can get the weight loss going again?
579258 tn?1250652943 In entering your current data, it provides you with a chart to monitor your progress, allows you to establish weight loss goals, tracks your measurements and clothing size, and records your exercise and daily activities. Using the Weight Tracker also gives you the ability to email it to your doctor as a point-of-reference before or during your appointment so he/she can see your progress. Take a look at it – I guarantee you, you will start using it!
Avatar n tn and further more the very next morning i swear....i have gained more weight! i am literally gaining weight EVERY DAY.
Avatar n tn I was looking back on my weight loss chart and saw that within 3 weeks of starting lexapro each time, I had a significant weight gain. I went from 175 to 185 the first time and then continued to gain despite following the program and exercising. When I went off the med, the weight began to drop and I made it down below 200. I started it again in February this year and within 3 weeks, here came another 10 pounds and it's been steadilly going up ever since.
187316 tn?1386360282 I have a super fast metabolism and although I can eat an enormous amount of food I never seem to gain any weight. In fact, its like I actually loose weight. After having Aspen I thought that maybe it would get a little better but it hasn't at all. I'm under 100 lbs again and I feel like I am wasting away. There doesn't seem to be a thing I can do to make myself get heavier. I feel so depressed and gross.
Avatar m tn I just went for my check up yesterday and I weigh 189lbs. I can't lose any weight. Also, I have Asthma so my ability to exercise is limited however I am so tired that I am not exercising at all. I used to do Aerobics everyday and dance and now I can't even dance to one song I am all out of breath. Can someone please help me and tell me how to eat and what I can do to lose the weight. I am getting so depressed because of this and very unhappy. I can't stand to look in the mirror.
Avatar f tn I know this is a pretty frequently talked about topic, but I was wondering how much weight everyone gained w/ their pregnancies. I am at the point now where I am rapidly gaining weight (1-1 1/2 lbs a week) and it is taking a toll. I am only 5'2'', normally 115 lbs. (at most) and all the weight gain is killing my back and hurting my knees(worse than my first). I am 32 1/2 weeks and have already gained over 20 lbs., and will probably hit 30 lbs. by the end (gained 28 lbs. with Maddy)..
Avatar n tn Diet chart is the way to go, what is low carb for you may not be proper for your body to lose weight. Go to a dietician and plan a neat diet chart of 500 cals less than the recommended calories of your age and height, take proteins, minerals, vitamins, high fibre carbohydrate, some fat without cholesterol. + dance which is intense so that you lose atleast 500 cals in 1 to 11/2 hrs. Take care, as with this you will lose weight!
Avatar n tn She has recently done Weight Watchers for one month and followed it religiously. She lost practically no weight. She also exercise at least five times a week for an hour and a half. She is very frustrated and I don't have any answers. Unfortunately, her doctors over the years don't seem to be able to help. Should we be looking at type of insulin? She presently talkes Lantus and Humalog. Does high protein help? Her weight is in her back across her shoulders, in her middle and thighs.
Avatar n tn I went today for my first week weight check and my second shot.....my weight loss for my first week is 9.5 pounds!!!! Anyone else using Phentermine and B12? I would love to hear how other people have done on these meds. Good Luck to everyone trying...I want to hear your story!
961008 tn?1276652428 I tried to open your chart, but it just took me to my own fertilityfriend chart. Maybe try this instead... While you're on the fertilityfriend page with your chart, go to the left hand menu and choose "charing" then "home page setup". Then choose the chart you want to share (on the bottom) and click on "save setting". You can then copy the link in the window on top and paste it here for us to view...
1938479 tn?1325709220 If Arnold Schwarzenegger was to use a BMI (weight vs height) chart while bodybuilding, it would have classified him as obese. Another way to look at fat versus muscles is that a cubic inch of muscle will weigh more than a cubic inch of fat. Muscle is about 18 percent more dense than fat. So a better question is am I in shape or do i need to convert more areas of fat to muscle? With that said, here is a weight chart that should only be used to give you an idea, so don't take it as gospel.
Avatar f tn What can I do to get pregnant after removing the IUD (Mirena) with knowing I have PCOS. I am 24 years old and healthy for the most part (other than my weight, which has always been an issue w/ PCOS). I was diagnosed with PCOS 10 years ago. I started to work out in Nov of 2005, lost a total of 40 pounds and accidently conceived a child. I am a little heavier now than what I was before I started working out.
Avatar m tn For instance, I tend to retain a lot of fluid, so if my weight jumps up to 153, I'm obese, going by BMI, but the extra weight isn't fat, it's fluid. According to the height/weight chart, normal weight for a 6'1" man could be anywhere between 152 and 192, depending on frame size.
