vomiting

114870 tn?1210298346 She just left the hospital 4 days ago on second day home the pain and vomiting is back, so then its not from the effusion. Saw the pulmonary doctor today for follow up and he says that the vomiting and pain is in fact NOT from the pleural effusion. So what is this, what can be causing the pain and vomit. She has no bowel obstruction, just seedings around the peritoneum...could that cause the severe pain and vomiting. We are lost here.
Avatar f tn She began breathing again but still not responding, I put her in the shower and turned on the cold water. She came in and out of consciousness for several minutes so I carried her back to bed. She was able to answer where she was, the day of the week and her name. She is now stable and resting next to me. Could you please help on what is possibly wrong with her so I know if it's serious enough to drag her to the hospital because she does not want to go.
Avatar f tn Three times now I have had middle right side back pain followed by severe stomach pain and vomiting. I went to the er the first time and they gave me stuff to stop the vomiting and something for pain and they said I might have kidney stones but never found anything. The next times I just suffered through the pain which usually last about 6 to 7 hours and it is unbearable, like being in labor. I will be fine for a few months and then it will happen again. Please help.
Avatar n tn My mother is in the hospital for the third time in a month with chronic vomiting. Nothing stays down she can't even drink water. Avatar f tn and high blood pressure. The high blood pressure and vomiting went away shortly after the baby was born and my gallbladder was removed. Ever since, I have had chronic dairrhea and constipation. Both with flip flop, but I seem to never be regular. The heart burn continues, but is less frequent (maybe twice a week). My stomach has always been a little funny, but lately the cramps, diarrhea, constipation, and heartburn are driving me insane. Do you have any idea what this may be?

Avatar n tn t possibly be my gallbladder because I was too young. Finally they ran a HIDA scan and found that my gallbladder was not functioning at all and removed it, finding that it was severely infected. This was supposed to solve all my problems, but I still vomit every day, the only difference being I can keep down liquids and foods such as apple sauce. Has anyone heard of symptoms such as these and have any idea what could be causing them?
Avatar f tn Several years ago I had the same problem but everything went aways once my gallbladder was removed. The episodes of vomiting and diarrhea last anywhere from hours to 2 days. I have recorded what I am eating to see if it is a food allergy but only thing i have found in the past week is butter makes me sick but not other dairy products. I went to a chiroprator that gave me a questionare about health sympotms and he recommeded me having my thyroid checked.
Avatar f tn Beneath the mucus vomit is this nasty egg smelling acid that burns the crap out of throat and nose. The vomiting and diarrhea last for at least an entire day. Throwing up doesn't help the nausea feeling. I'm scared now. Going to my doctor this morning.
Avatar f tn The nausea subsided for about 48 hours but it returned today with the same outcome. Nausea and vomiting bile. What does it mean when you vomit bile?
Avatar n tn Anyway, since he had his gallbladder removed last month, he has been intermittently having severe nausea and vomiting. He started having it again yesterday and was up all night vomiting. We put a call in to his gastroenterologist's office and we are waiting for a callback. He is at work right now and is contemplating coming home because he feels so horrible. Has this ever happened to anyone else after having a cholecystectomy? Can anyone offer any advice regarding this?
414347 tn?1294807038 I am not sure if there is but I suffered from a bad vertigo attack in July 07 had ER visits and all kinds of test that were normal and then in Nov 07 started with upset stomach and vomiting and just had my gallbladder out in Jan 08 (no stones). No one has told me that they are related but I wonder?
Avatar f tn s more than likely bile and stomach acids. Women are more prone to gallbladder attacks like this especially if you are pregnant or have been pregnant. Get your gallbladder checked. It could be stones or the pre-stone formation. It made me sick as a dog too especially when eating fatty foods.
Avatar n tn In short, yes, in the forms of (a) undetected stones, and (b) gallbladder dyskinesia. (There are a few uncommon possibilities such as SOD.) Note, however that the nausea and vomiting may be indicative of a more global motility problem.
Avatar f tn I have been painfully projectile vomiting Friday, Saturday and now Sunday. I am getting headaces from vomiting so much and insomnia as well. The anti-neaussea and anti-spasm medications don't really do much. I am getting really scared and depressed and none of my family and friends know what to say or do or even how bad it really is. I don't know what to do anymore.

Avatar f tn I had my gallbladder removed almost 4 years ago. I was a freshman in college at the time, & I had been diagnosed with biliary dyskinesia. Basically my gallbladder wasn’t functioning properly. For almost a year after my surgery, I had nothing but problems. I lost a lot of weight, was having awful diarrhea & vomiting all the time. It seemed to get better. But now I’m having the same problems again.
484160 tn?1343397921 I had a fundoplcation a few years ago after being admitted to the hospital with uncontrollable vomiting. Was diagnosed with hiatal hernia, sludge in my gall bladder and a cyst on my Fallopian tube. I was told that after a fundoplication I would be unable to vomit. Apparently I was misinformed. I just spent the last 24 hours heaving and retching uncontrollably, even throwing up. It feels exactly the way it did before surgery, except for the quantities I throw up. This happens periodically.
Avatar f tn Meds we have tried (SPELLING IS NOT BEST) Phinagin, Protonix, Vicondin, Ragel, and some others. We did try Clarifit and it seemed to work for about 2 months with not issues but now we are back to square one. We can not longer go to the local hospitas because they think my Husband has an addiction problem but he does not, he hates taking any meds. We just need some advise on which way we need to go now. He is going on day 5 of being sick... Thank you for your time.
