583580 tn?1231136383 I do cardio and I try to lift weights but theres my problem. Everytime I start a lifting program even though its low weight more reps I gain mass. This frustrates me cause it doesnt go away. I dont lose inches or weight I get bigger. Whenever this happens I stop lifting cause I dont want to get bigger. I know they say that a woman cant get bigger because she just doesnt produce the same hormones as a man but why would I be gaining mass if this were so.
Avatar f tn 15-20 reps is more for a burn and tone type exercise but I recommend heavier weight, maybe wear a backpack with cans of soup or something for extra weight and try and get 10-12 rep range with no more than 30-45 seconds of rest.
Avatar f tn Start a sensible weight-lifting program. This is how to naturally increase your testosterone level. You want to start weight lifting with small weights. You don't want to start big because the object is to slowly build the big muscles and the small stabilizer muscles correctly from the start, learning correct form. That's how you get strong and avoid injury. You don't even need weights; you can use your own body weight. Youtube has videos that can get you started.
Avatar m tn I already take D3 and weight lift twice a week. I'll look into that diet but that sounds pretty harsh, might mess up my workouts.

Avatar f tn I freaked out thinking I had PN from diabetes, but I check my blood glucose for a week and everything was perfect, and my HBA1C was perfect as well. I am a male and weigh 175 lbs with 10% body fat. I weight train 5 days per week and always eat healthy and count my calories and macros. Avatar m tn I'm a 20 year old guy, and I've been working out and eating right for about 10 months, and I've gotten some very satisfactory results. However, even though I've gained muscle mass and lost a considerable amount of body fat, there still seems to have been no change in my "man boobs". This is very frustrating and embarrassing. I have and continue to do everything I can to get rid of my chest fat but it won't go away.
Avatar m tn Hi Joey, odd name for a mum, he can start by doing weight lifting, and lots of heavy work outs, for him the safest thing for his age would be Tribulus as its just a herb and would take around 8 weeks to get to full power. But just get lifting weights in a gym, and he or you need to tell his trainer why and what its for, and let them work on him.

Avatar n tn Is anyon weight lifting during their pregnancy i do alot of squats dead lifts and hugg intensity exercises. My doctor said it was alright but other s ob say otherwise..
Avatar f tn First of all I would say it depends on how far u are and not only That but also whether or not u were lifting heavy before pregnancy. It's easy to strain yourself when lifting specially because your balance isn't as good. I'm 120 pounds pretty petite if I lift 50 pounds that's Def not safe lol.

Avatar n tn Hi Winty, you could raise your testosterone by weight lifting, get down the gym and pump some iron, you can google that and see what type of exercises are best, or you could try some tribulus, its good for raising testosterone, I take it for my ED recovery, if you can get some in herbal form, make a big pot of green tea and tribulus, let it steep over night and drink through the next day, I di it once a week, and take it with ginger lemon and honey, and I'm also on capsules twice daily.

Avatar m tn however, beginning in august, i started to lose weight. i was not lifting very much, but i was playing soccer and still active. when wrestling season began weighed 170 pounds and dropped about 10 to make 160. however, every week would be a battle because i would gain back 8 or so and have to lose it all. once that season ended, i found myself weighing 164, then 162, then 159, and finally as low as 156. this prompted a trip to the doctor, and blood test, revealing low TSH.
