After 2 days or so the fever was gone because i took medicine but muscle pain persisted until a month. There are times when even if the infection is resolved, these lymph nodes persist. A recent and ongoing infection can cause progressive enlargement of the lymph nodes.
Do not worry too much. If it will give you peace of mind, you can push for a biopsy of one of the lymph nodes. That will give you a more definite diagnosis.

I find this odd because my armpit lymph nodes have never swollen in my life. It is been five days since the exposure. By the end of the year i got really swollen gums, and started worring I went to the dentists she treated me and i was Ok again but in March I same swollen gums again an started worring on the last year sex with the sexworker i started seacrhing arround on the web and found tons of documents that shows that there is a minor risk of getting HIV from oral sex. So i started touching around my body and did find some swollen lymph nodes and feeling something at the back of my throat.
Hopefully that's one of your lymph nodes, we've lots of them. They're the collection points for the body's infection efforts, and they'll swell up when you're fighting an infection (such as in your jawbone / teeth roots or gums). Have you had a dental checkup lately?

if you have swollen lymph nodes durring ars do they stay swollen for along time after ars or do they go back to normal after a couple weeks? and is it true that any symptoms of hiv you have after the ars period are most likely not related to hiv. do lymph nodes swell all at the same time with hiv or do they swell in one area and then the next until over a period of time you have alot of them.
In feeling around, it feels like there are swollen lymph nodes in my groin and armpit, and maybe even in my neck. I also have been having loose bowel movements (although, I do have irritable bowel syndrome). I'm not demonstrating a fever. On and off, I have had head aches, and a sore through, with slight phlemn, but not really any concrete signs of a cold or anything. Oftentimes, even with resolution of infection, these enlarged lymph nodes would not regress in size. Recurrent infection would make the lymph nodes to enlarge intermittently.
Lymphomas would present with enlarged lymph nodes. This is associated with constitutional symptoms of fever, sweating, weight loss, and sometimes itchiness of the skin.
I would suggest that you continue to observe your child for any symptoms and bring her to her pediatrician for evaluation and management.

If you still have swollen lymph nodes, call around to find a place that might be able do a biopsy or run some tests on your affected lymph nodes. This might reveal the cause of why your lymph nodes are swollen.

I have one really swollen and painful lymph node in my neck just under my left jaw kind of. It just kind of sprung up over night. I feel fine besides that. No runny nose, ear ache, or anything like that. The dr there told me i have herpes in my mouth and thats what was causing me to have a fever, headache, swollen lymph nodes and swollen gums and etc. I was shocked since im not sexually active, my doctor suggested i get tested for hiv and gonnorhea since im consider high risk now? my only exposure was the needlepoke which was i was told here not to worry about about it. Should i be worried about hiv? Is my life really over and am i contagious forever?
