I had a fever for a week with swollen neck lymph nodes,both tonsils (right one more) and painful upon slight touching and swollen gums. Some 40 days later I have got a throat infection accompanied with fever that stayed for three days.
Two to three years back - I performed unprotected cunnilingus on a female call girl and didnt notice any ars like symptoms but was worried. Condom didnt fail.
Then since January I ve had 4 sexual exposures.
After 2 days or so the fever was gone because i took medicine but muscle pain persisted until a month. After that i notice i have swollen lymph nodes under my jaw both sides and one at the back of my ear. at 3 months post exposure i took an oraquick test i got a negative result but i under swabed my gums or i did the swabbing wrong.. Now i am at my 4rth month and i still have swollen lymph nodes lost weight and experiencing twitching of muscle all over my body.. Is this hiv infection already..
Now everything back normal but I have swollen lymph nodes under my armpit. ..left side..

It's important you get all your dental work done before beginning treatment if you can, and keep up regular cleanings 2-4 times a year during treatment to avoid any serious developments.
There are times when even if the infection is resolved, these lymph nodes persist. A recent and ongoing infection can cause progressive enlargement of the lymph nodes.
Do not worry too much. If it will give you peace of mind, you can push for a biopsy of one of the lymph nodes. That will give you a more definite diagnosis.

so, I went to the doctor first about chest pain. This has all been checked out now (blood test & X-ray) and everything is normal. The chest pain is still there, they think it is costochondritis (inflammation of the tissue between the ribs). The weird thing is I also have sore lymph nodes in my throat, but they're not swollen. They hurt at random times, often after I drink alcohol. I've had all this for ~6 months now.
After checking he also has a lymph in his neck swollen a bit. His gums have been swelling, hurting and bleeding lately more then usual. He just started brushing regularly again though. No changes in bathroom habits but did say it burned once when he urinated 2 days ago. No change in appetite, mood, or sleep schedule. He has had 4 partners in the last 8 month that I know of and by the one pregnancy scare and now a definite 12 week pregnancy I can tell my sex ed talks were not listened to.

Oral sex, even if your gums were bleeding, is not a risk for HIV. There are bacteria and enzymes in human saliva which renders the virus inactive. Air also renders the virus inactive and is abundant in the mouth.
Oral sex can be a risk for other STD's and you might want to consider having an STD panel done to rule them out. It is recommended that anyone who engages in oral sex have an STD panel every three months as a preventative measure.

Hi guys. About 100 days ago I had unprotected oral sex with a man and he ejaculated in my mouth. I've had no symptoms at all but now I am reading all these things online I think I have swollen nodes behind my knees and groin area or maybe I'm paranoid. I've had bleeding gums in the past. In gingivitis there are swollen gums, bad breath, easily bleeding of the gums during flossing or brushing and gums may appear red-colored. Scurvy can lead to swollen bleeding gums, weakness, joint pains and muscle pains. In periodontitis there is soft tissue and bone deterioration with tender swollen gums. These are only few possibilities. For exact diagnosis and treatment a dental examination is necessary. Do keep me posted.

Joggen, what about swollen lymph nodes? I dont feel any swollen lymph nodes, but my armpits ache, they arent sore to the touch, but they ache. Could it be that I have irritated them? from checking for swollen lymph nodes? I have lack of appetite and nausea. I try to take a possitive attitude, but I do worry.
One questions really hasnt been answered completely, if I had been at risk, how accurate is a hiv test at 8 weeks? is it long enough for my body to produce antibodies.
