1216742 tn?1334152111 Hello 91becca, I am wondering if you tried Myomin, and if so, did you find it helped at all? If not, what made you decide not to (if you don't mind me asking)? I just heard about it today, and have been searching for more information on it for my girlfriend, who also suffers from endometriosis, but info and personal reviews are proving hard to come by. Thank you for sharing your story and experiences. I sincerely hope you are doing well and wish you the best!

15355684 tn?1440035790 Can anyone suggest some superfoods that help improve the brain performance? Recently I found a superfood called Bulletproof brain octane oil that helps improve brain performance at Giddy Yoyo, a certified organic food product seller in Canada. Does anyone here have tried this product? or if someone who knows better superfood then please share.
Avatar f tn Congrats on your weight loss this year! I have to slightly disagree with the responses to do crunches. Not that doing crunches will do any harm, but ab work alone isnt enough to change your stomach. You arent going to see any kind of definition in your stomach if there is still a layer of fat covering your abs. And crunches don't burn enough calories to trim your stomach down either. Cardio will be more effective for trimming your waistline than crunches would be.
Avatar f tn If there is no improvement seen or the stools continue to be dark, you may consider an evaluation by a gastroenterologist for an accurate diagnosis and appropriate management. Hope this is helpful. Take care!
953067 tn?1248394508 They have a much better grasp of what menaopause can do to us and in my opinion, a much better understanding of what can be done to help us get through it. If your PCP does not take you seriously, run, do NOT walk, out of his office and find a doctor who DOES. While blaming everything on menopause is not the answer, I think it has a great deal to do with the issues you're dealing with.

Avatar f tn At around 50 I began to find that it was taking longer and becoming more difficult to manage workloads that I had previously been able to manage. The Adderal was very helpful for a while, but now I am finding my ADD symptoms are getting worse. I also have a sleep disorder which is also getting worse with age and when I don't sleep well all the ADD symptoms (poor concentration, impulsivity, anxiety) seem to be increased.
Avatar f tn s have a mind of their own - disappear and come back regardless of what we try to do to manage them. As a scientist I seek explanations through testing hypotheses, however, since I am now the experiment I cannot seem to find any answers to my PVC's.

534800 tn?1217167359 If I get to bed by around 10 PM, I usually can get to sleep before too long, but if I stay up later, it seems to take more time to fall asleep. Have you tried a dose of magnesium at night to help with sleep? Or valerian root to help you sleep? I've been taken naturemade brand of Sam-E for mood, etc. once a day since before my hysterectomy. It was recommended, by that brand only by a psychiatrist when I had a severe bout of depression some years ago.
Avatar n tn I too began experiencing panic attacks and after a lot of tests to ease any health anxieties. It seems to be peri-menopause. I am 40 and it is crazy. My gyno is very patient and has listened as well as my cardiologist. It seems as if I need to learn to manage them better among other things. I currently take a very low dose beta-blocker when on the 14th day of my cycle and ativan as needed. Some days are better than others. I get numbness, dizziness, and heart palpitations.

7600327 tn?1393358885 t it way too early in the game for this? Can you ladies tell me if this has happened to you, or is it just a mental thing?
Avatar f tn I am sorry to hear that you have high FSH. You can certainly try the things that the other women suggested. There is even a book called Inconceivable about how a woman with high FSH conceives against all odds. I am 38 & will be doing donor eggs very soon & have normal FSH & no known problems. Sometimes it is just not meant to be. I met a friend thru support group who is same age, has FSH of 24. She already did 16 IUI & 1 ivf & now moving onto donor.
Avatar f tn Find a doctor who will treat you... Even if u have to travel. You shouldn't have to go on like this High bp wont be doing any good as that itself gives a head ache... And the stress from all gives a headache... Then bp from stress...
8693404 tn?1399380569 HRT is a personal choice but with endo I believe it is a gamble and I would at least try and manage without it. There are plenty of natural ways to look after your menopause health that you can try.
Avatar f tn During the past 14 years I could not find any drugs to alleviate hot flushes. I try to manage it by drinking water as soon as I feel the flush coming on (my mouth feels dry and my face gets red) then, when it starts, I put a fan full blast on myself. During the night I sleep under a ceiling fan - it helps to prevent my body from getting too hot with the severe sweating that follows (an air conditioning system does not help - there must be a draught). Drinking water regularly helps for me.
Avatar f tn hi there, from what I have learnt is you know your body and if you feel something isn't right try to find answers. If you feel the Dr might be right, you could always get a second opinion to find out more info? if your symptoms continue or get worse, let your gp or internist know OK..
Avatar f tn re wondering why hot flashes might have appeared, when you went through menopause long ago. But you mentioned needing to lose some weight, and there is also research out there that points out that fat cells themselves store hormones. If you were releasing some of those by dieting, possibly there is a connection, and you could ask your doctor about that.
