7600327 tn?1393358885 Why the hell am I always hungry? I'll be 6 weeks tomorrow. Isn't it way too early in the game for this? Can you ladies tell me if this has happened to you, or is it just a mental thing?
1216742 tn?1334152111 ve been bleeding for 3 weeks. Before my surgery I bled for 5 months non stop while being on the pill. I had my 6 months of medically induced menopause after my surgery and am just to take the pill every day now until I want to have kids. I was given the option to have another laparoscopy to see where I'm at 1 year after my surgery. But I've heard that more surgery won't really help, and it makes sense. I've also heard more surgery might actually encourage more growth etc.
Avatar f tn Congrats on your weight loss this year! I have to slightly disagree with the responses to do crunches. Not that doing crunches will do any harm, but ab work alone isnt enough to change your stomach. You arent going to see any kind of definition in your stomach if there is still a layer of fat covering your abs. And crunches don't burn enough calories to trim your stomach down either. Cardio will be more effective for trimming your waistline than crunches would be.

Avatar f tn Not sure if the superfoods have causes this grainy stool, but I am concerned since it lasts for a couple of days. I have opted to skip a few days between the smoothies to see if there is a difference in my stool and yes, today, that are somewhat (minor) more consistent and compacted. HELP. Should I be worried?

2175366 tn?1337651654 Some people get good results with "superfoods" such as bee pollen, royal jelly, spirulina because they are so highly concentrated with nutrients. Adrenal aids such as eleuthero and rhodiola can be helpful as well.
Avatar f tn I’m 50 years old and just started menopause about a year ago. I’m 5’-6” and weighed about 154. Before my menopause started I weighed about 128. I exercise 6 days a week, I actually enjoy it. My diet was pretty unhealthy so since I’ve been on the phentermine I have watched my diet carefully, changed to very healthy items and count my calories. Initially my doctor had me on 15 mg once a day. I kissed 3 pounds right away, then it stopped. The doctor told me to take 30mg a day.

Started getting migraines, crippling cramps, horrific mood swings, physical exhaustion, severe lower abdominal pain, hot flashes so bad that I sleep in my own room (Separate from my husband) because I have to have the fan on my window at night with 20 degree temps. and 5 UTI's (I'v never had one before this), worse than I'v ever had any of these PMS symptoms before.
Avatar m tn 5 in 2010, in 2008 it was 0.8, so I will recall this in 6 months to see if this is a fluctuation or a trend”. This got me thinking so I turned to Google as you do and scared myself silly now I am worried and not sure what to do if anything. Perhaps I am worried about nothing. But how come I have any psa at all if I haven’t got a prostate? I can only conclude that the cancer is coming back. Am I correct with this assumption?
Avatar f tn ) They are lighter too, only last about 3 -4 days instead of the 7 - 8 they used to be. I am 50 and have 6 kids. I did mention to my doctor about the time between periods being shorter now and she examined me and said there were no suspicious things going on inside. Any advice, anyone?

Avatar f tn She was young for menopause as well (as your age is actually on the young side to be fully through that)--- but had not had a period for over a year and then had one. She had one more after about 6 months after that and has now had no periods for anther year. She is 53. Your doctor can help you with blood work that would determine exactly where you are at in the menopause story. good luck and let us know!
5618825 tn?1371044135 Never had sleep problems before until getting menopause. I take now 2 days of 1/2 pill of estrogen red pill and every 2 days medroxy progesterone. I hadn't taken it for quite a long time but started again after reading it prevents thickening of walls. I awake around 3 and have a hard time sleeping. I started taking on the shelf after midnight. This works for 4 hrs now I am wondering about melatonin. I tried two 5mg at 3 and couldn't sleep at all. Finally did at 6. Guess was too much.
Avatar m tn I have been on my period for 6 almost 7 months now and dont know what to do. I am 21 so it isnt menopause. I had the Depo Provera shot right after I had my last child (she is 7 months). I havent had one since and it is only supposed to last 3 months. I cant afford to go to the doctor and really need to know what may be wrong so I can try to fix it. This really isnt helping my relationship and I need help. Thanks for reading this and trying to help!
Avatar f tn my period is crazy it comes when it wants light, heavy twice a month since im having so much dizziness could this be a result of menopause?
171791 tn?1358214381 He suggested hormone replacement but so many people get aner from this. I would also have to pay $500 for first visit and $2500 for any visit after that. I am not made of money. This is what the hormone centers charge here in my area. owever I am gonna ask for some estrogen pills.I have cried all day and if I go outside the heat makes me feel like I am gonna pass out.
Avatar f tn My oncologist said I could wait a bit for the surgery if I wanted to get a bit closer to menopause to try to shorten the possible time on hormone supplements (if needed). That discussion was about 8 months ago. I am leaning towards getting the surgery this summer. I am concerned about going into menopause, possible weight gain, emotional changes, and risks with hormone supplements...... However, I'm more concerned about cancer!
Avatar f tn First, I will apologize for asking this question because I know it is very trivial, and there are so many others that are important. Second, I would like to know about the great days a head that's associated with menopause. Now, I don't feel it because I am almost a month late, and for the majority of 39.5 years of having a period, they have been normal. I am very miserable. I feel like I am 2 or 3 feet tall and 5 feet wide.
Avatar f tn I am 51 and haven't had a period for 5 months. Three years ago I had UAE for fibroids causing severe bleeding. Suddenly, several weeks ago I started having burning pain which sometimes went into my lower back. It was discovered I had a 7 cm fibroid. I have no bleeding at all this time. My GYN wants to do a vaginal hysterectomy but I was wondering if I could have another UAE instead. OR...

Avatar f tn I am 40 years old. Am I going through menopause? My periods aare all messed up. Some times I get them twice a month. Sometimes they only last a few days and are very light. Sometimes they are extremely heavy and painful, with HUGE clots. I've had ovarian cysts before. This has been going on for a few years. My doctor has recommended possibly cauterizing (sp ) my uterus to minimize the flow of blood. Has anyone had this done?
