Avatar f tn I know what you mean. But since being pregnancy now with my second I eat spicy foods sometimes now. If you crave it..eat it! Don't care what anyone says. The only thing spicy foods will do to you is really bad heartburn!
Avatar n tn Calories aren't the most important factor in weight or fat -- metabolism of the foods you're eating are. If you eat a lot of simple carbs, such as white flour or sugar, it will store as fat quickly if not burned off immediately, and the first place it goes is to the belly. You might want to find a chart that tells you how fast foods are metabolized into sugar and avoid the ones that do this the quickest.

What does that mean in the manner of foods to eat for a healthy liver? I know alcohol is tabu, he does not smoke but what about the foods? Avatar f tn I do two things to help me not be hungry while dieting, first i snack on a 180 calorie pack of sunflower seeds, it takes me my whole work day to finish and keeps my mouth busy so im not snacking on high calorie stuff. ..plus they come in many flavors do its not boring. Secondly i do the volumetrics diet. Its based on the normal weight loss principles of low calorie, low fat but teaches you to choose items that will fill you up faster (ie-grapes instead of raisins).
Avatar f tn Yea, I think you should be okay. Plus, u/s's aren't super accurate when It comes to measuring the baby's weight. It really Isn't a big difference If you ask me. Keep eating healthy and I heard eatin' foods with a lot of protein helps with the baby gaining weight as well.
Avatar f tn If you're overeating at dinner and craving sweets in the evening, most likely you aren't eating enough (or the right foods) throughout the day. You should be eating about the same amount of calories for every meal, so you're keeping your blood sugar level all day long. Make sure you get some protein with every meal/snack you eat, as protein fills you up faster and keeps you feeling fuller longer.

969042 tn?1259067775 I noticed that my sinus symptoms greatly improved when I stopped eating the foods that were causing me so much trouble. All the food items you mentioned are big problems for me, too. To me what you've described doesn't sound so strange at all, because that's been my own experience, too. My mother told me that I had food allergies as a baby. Everyone thought the food allergies had disappeared, since I didn't have such obvious outward symptoms any more.
Avatar f tn I had the worst morning sickness when I was in weeks 6 through 16 I am now 23 weeks, it gets better just try eating bland foods too. The only thing I could eat when I had morning sickness was potatoes. Hope this helps. Also try eating a few crackers before getting out of bed.
Avatar n tn Awe poor thing, I'm a FTM and even I was in my first trimester I was very nauseous too. My doctor prescribed medicine but honestly I ate McDonald's fries. It was something about the salt that helped. I know that sounds weird but it's true. Also, make sure you are eating small snacks here and there like crackers, apples or oranges. Don't eat s lot of heavy foods. Hope this helps.

1534656 tn?1296085070 Well, if you eat them all in one day and every day, you aren't going to get better! Iodine is high in many of the foods you list and you really don't want to over do it. You will end up with a hyper thyroid and more problems than you need. It's perfectly ok to have these things occasionally, not every day. Our bodies do need a small amount of iodine. I would certainly make sure you keep the kelp intake well down.

Avatar m tn -I become mildly nauseous immediately after eating; spicy foods seem to exacerbate the feeling. -I have been occasionally burping (more than usual); these burps have a consistent strange taste and smell to them. -I may be slightly more tired than usual, but I have been able to work out since Wednesday. Although I am 20 years old and in good shape, I am very concerned about how I may have damaged my body. I am concerned that I may have given myself a stomach ulcer.

I've noticed eating funions and drinking sprite are the only things I can truly enjoy because they don't make my stomach hurt.. Avatar n tn Hiya. I'm 19 years old and as of today am 19 weeks pregnant. Before pregnancy I was 103 lbs. Which is only because I tried so terribly hard to gain weight after being underweight for years. I mean I was 87 lbs before I gained all the weight. Then I got pregnant. Instead of being a happy 103 and gaining because of my little bug I am losing weight. I'm now 96 lbs. Every time I've been to the doctor they've said nothing about weight.

On the other hand I use only real butter and olive oil. I don't buy diet breads or fat free cheeses or milk, just 2%. What kinds of diet foods do you love and eat all the time and which ones just aren't worth it to you?
