5154541 tn?1366808691 So I usually ask yahoo answers for help...which this time I was not thankful for. I needed help with this one question that I CAN'T find in my textbook. I got to responses saying I was lying, that I won't succeed in life, that I'm pathetic for asking a homework question like this. I feel terrible and now can't even study because of what they said...can someone just...idk cheer me up? I try so hard in college and now I'm so stressed with finals I can't take it anymore.

572651 tn?1530999357 Fortunately there are no political references in this story so we can avoid that debate, please. This article on yahoo finance lays out how Social Security works and the types of payments people in the US receive, using people as examples and not just statistics. I thought this might be of interest to our non-US members in particular.... http://finance.yahoo.com/news/tightwire-act-living-only-social-154206642.

168348 tn?1379357075 I saw a great article about how many prenatal vitamins, both OTC and prescription, have VASTLY different levels of iodine in them than indicated on the label. I'm wondering if the same holds true for regular multivitamins, and what implications this has for people, like us, with thryroid disease. I was shocked at how much the actual level of iodine differed from the stated amounts. Some had much more; some had far too little. Here's the article: http://news.yahoo.
Avatar n tn t care for the prescription foods, or not for long anyway. If I could make a suggestion, look up and join the kidney diet group on yahoo. The moderators there are awesome and they can help you design a fresh food diet for your dog that is tasty, renal friendly, and meets nutritional requirements.
Avatar f tn s a great way to review your situation objectively and identify patterns in your foods, symptoms, medications, bowel habits and pain level. Hindsight is 20/20 and keeping a log might help you look at things more objectively over the longer term. Also, when you do go into Emergency, you can say, this has been the pattern... You are not alone! Try to stay positive and reach out for support when you need it.

6506604 tn?1382104872 Well I went on Armour thyroid from a compounded t3 this week. So far so good. However my TPO antibodies went up from 630 to 840, from October to Feb. I have been gluten free and been eating many healing foods. However has anyone tried LDN? Does it bring down your TPO's? What about exercise? Does that help bring down your TPO's? I have a friend that has Rheumatoid and it helps out with that. My Funtional doctor suggested I look into it and may try it this summer. please advise.
Avatar f tn Its important to tell your doctor. It is a common condition in pregnancy. There is an article on yahoo about pica today and you can Google it. I would make sure to talk to your doctor though, you could be lacking some minerals that you body is craving.

Avatar f tn My sister did it over a two week time period and it worked. She effaced super fast and was dilated to a 4 by the time she went into labor. Definitely works and it keeps the coochie a lil bit more oiled up so you don't tear as much.
