Put it on everywhere as the skin is one organ, so even though it's just your belly and boobs growing you could get stretch marks on your things or bum. I personally make my own oil by melting bees wax, coconut oil, olive oil, rose hip oil and adding in essentials oils frankincense, lavender and myrrh and some vitamin E.

I underwent new skin tests in July of 2009 to determine the ones I was confident I was having a reaction too, and the tests confirmed all of them. I am now concerned with my reaction (usually stomach cramps, nausea and vomiting) will cause damage to my esophagus, or if there is something else GI related that is going on.

Avatar f tn The advice given by your doctor seems quite strange. I wouldn't recommend eating simply 500 calories per day for a week and THEN eating 1500 thereafter. It is all about balance. No one (unless you've always done it) can go through life eating simply vegetables and fruit. It's good to have a balanced diet. Eat what you want to eat but watching the portion at the same time.
Avatar f tn I found a vegetable based protein powder in the health food section of the market by Naturade. It is Soy-free and dairy-free. I make smoothies every morning with this. I also found Hemp Milk at Whole Foods which is completely dairy, soy and salt free, in addition to salt free soups, chicken broth and other quick prep stuff. The diet is extremely restricted, but it's only for a limited time and for a very, very good reason.

Avatar m tn and just tend to steer clear of 'textured vegetable protein' [tvp] (which is really textured soy protein), it really defeats the purpose of choosing soy over wheat/ meat - the manufacturing process is dodgy... maybe a bit is alright... but it's largely a bad deal. i switched to coconut milk, and i eat a lot of polenta, potato, rice, beans, chickpeas. i have occasional soy sauce cause there's just some things i won't miss out on anymore!
