If you eat a lot of quickly digestible
foods, you will not feel satiated for long. (By this I mean highly processed
foods, or
foods with a lot of sugar). Try having a glass of water about 20 minutes before you eat (say when someone starts to cook dinner) that should help you acquire a feeling of fullness and cut down on your intake of food. If you don't like water, try putting a lemon in it, or having a cup of tea (fruit tea, plain black tea, unsweetened green tea).
