I just got hired for a new job and start orientation on Tuesday the 2nd of September. I didn't tell them that I'm pregnant and ofcourse they didn't ask. When is a good time to tell them? I'm 19 weeks now , I got this job pretty quickly got hired on the spot. It's in the medical field, I'll be doing CNA stuff and running around a lot. Any suggestions????

I have been trying to get insurance for months and they lost my application twice and lost my address once so I just got my insurance card this week. My appointment Monday is a meeting with the nurse and then. I have an appointment Tuesday with the dr an then an ultra sound after and then a glucose test on Thursday. I want to know what I should expect. Please no rude comments about seeing a dr so late I've been trying to get insurance for months!

Hi. On a recent job application form it states that I must have vision of 6/12 or better with either eye and 6/6 with both eyes, with or without spectacles 6/36 without spectacles/ contact lenses. I wear Spectacles and my prescription = 2.5 and 2.75 ? I am lost, can anybody help ?

We filed with FEMA but they only paid for 80% of hotel expenses...I did try to get emergency foods stamps but my application is still pending. I know my husband can probably get disaster unemployment...but I would just rather him find a job then going through all that.

Hi everyone. I've always wanted to teach overseas however the application also asks for a medical report. It also explicitly says that anyone with a communicable disease will be automatically disqualified from the position. I was diagnosed with HPV five years ago and my pap smears have been normal since then. Do you think the physician will list HPV on the form as a communicable disease?

So I stopped working 2 weeks ago. I'm single, obviously unemployed, and 10 weeks pregnant.I live in California and haven't applied for medical (aka Medicare). But I'm super scared because I know they ask for all bank accounts. I get heartburn super bad. During my last pregnancy, Zantac wouldn't work for me. I had to start taking Prilosec. It was awful, but for me, it didn't matter what I ate.

thanks, i gess ill go see what the dentist says, (going there in a week or so), i read that it could be foaming agency in tooth paste, so i switched but still no change. would salt work? It would hurt super bad, but im willing to try anything to get rid of the pain.

I don't want to lie but I also don't want me being pregnant to be the reason I don't get this job. I really need this job financially and cant afford to not get one. What have you guys done? Should I tell them or wait and see if I get the job and then tell them?

I am redy to quit my job every time I am in my depressed episode, I don't want to be around anyone or do anything. Can I get disability benefits for my Bipolar? I feel that I am getting worse and I am falling into a deep depression again, I am binge eating I have racing thoughts I am tired I feel frustrated and confused with my words sometimes. How extreme does The Bipolar have to be to get benefits?

I put some timodine on it to start with and this initially helped with the discomfort but after a couple of days of regular application it no longer seems to work.. I'm still getting the travelling burning sensation in the thighs. researching it points maybe to prostatitis.. but the other symptoms of this look horrible and i'm not experiencing any of those getting to the end of my patience with it, i don't know where to turn to next..

Hi! If you were my patient, I would advise you that hair loss is common in pregnancy. You can't do much of anything about it, except to eat healthy foods and take your vitamins. Also take good care of your hair--avoid heat, etc. Usually it stops within a few weeks (it always stops) and often your hair will become thicker and shinier by the time of delivery. Hair loss after delivery is common too. Good luck!

I just got a new job today. However during the interview I did NOT tell them I was pregnant. How do I go about telling them this? I need the job and the money. There is no way that they can fire me correct? Should I just wait to tell them even though Im gonna b showing soon?!

just remember to follow up with your dr to see if you can correct this .you will be ok .make sure you eat healthy foods and stay away from sugar.but definitly check with your dr and see what he/she recommends.
