Ever since then I have had this pressure in the pit of my stomach right below my breastbone. It feels like someone has their fist in the pit of my stomach and are pushing in. Also, at times when I press on the area it is painul to touch. I have had an abdominal ultrasound, a pelvic mri, and ekg, and and echo. All have come back normal. My md suggested Prilosec. I took it for the 14 days and the feeling went away (or seemed to) Now 1 month after finishing the Prilosec the feeling is back.
Hello, It sounds like she definitely has some kind of issue going on with her stomach/intestines (but what I can not say for sure), and that is most likely Why she is eating the grass/dirt so she will vomit. It sounds like she is eating it because she is in fact nauseated but it could be possible however that the eating of grass/dirt may have become a habit. You may want to monitor her closely to prevent it while she is outside a couple of days to see if that helps her or not.
Two weeks ago I suddenly awoke with an EXTREME sharp pain in the spot I have read pain from a sudden gallstone blockage of the bile canal(?) is found. I could not straighten up or walk into the ER but was feeling better even by the time I reached the ER. I had a sonogram which showed nothing. I felt nauseous and bloated. I had NO appetite. Eating at all increases the nausea and still does.
The ER doctor performed sonogram then had a CT scan done.
I have pain in the pit of my stomach also that is linked to indigestion. I have acid reflux to begin with and I stopped taking my meds after I found out I was pregnant. I told my dr I was nauseated again at 36 weeks and he mentioned that it's most likely the cause and wants to put me back on something for it. Could be that.
Be careful with baths. Do NOT have too hot of a bath. It can pit the baby in severe stress since they can't sweat in the womb.
Anyone have any experience with this type of situation...pain in both shoulders, moreso in one of them,
sometimes accompanying burning sensations down the arms, and a noticeable swelling in the underarm
area of one...the situation was seemingly a gradual one, with pain growing worse over a month or two...
no injuries, and no real range of motion problems...
This is my problem, in between diarrhea or very soft stool, versus constipation, I will wake up with a life altering, mind blowing stomach ache. It just sits there deep in the pit of my stomach. It is not cramps, it is just a severe ache. I have described this to my Dr. millions of times and he put me on a constipation relieving medication called Amitiza although I will often have diarrhea - against my will I tried it and found no results. I am giving up and starting to be depressed.
My anxiety begins when I wake up, I can tell you it is horrible. I get a pit in the chest and a pit in my stomach. Thank God they usually go away. I am on meds to help control it. I would recommend what 29 silly girl said. I would start with a psychiatrist for an evaluation and go from there. Meds made be useful. You also have a lot on your plate. Good luck.
i have had this shooting pain in my stomach for about three weeks. i can't seem to find out what it may be. it's so bad i double over in the floor. i was wondering if anyone else has had the same problem. it's not just in one spot it's all over my stomach. thanks.
Hey yesterday i had a really bad pain in the left side of my stomach it got so bad i couldn't breath, i rang the midwife but all she told me to do was take paracetamol and rest, I'm now starting to experience the same pain again and im getting worried, my due date was september 1st, has anybody else experienced pains on the left side of their stomach???

Hi everyone thought coming on here could shed some light on my issue, since doctors can't figure it out. For about 5 months now been dealing with this pain in my left pectoral muscle as well right underneath it which leads to the arm pit and shoulder blade area. It comes goes for like a couple days to a week. It would switch from the left pec to the stomach and just below both pecs in the center.
