If you end up needing an emergency c-section, it's safer to not have eaten anything. Like most surgeries (if not all surgeries), you are suppose to have an empty stomach. I'm pretty sure that's why they don't encourage eating during labor..

What happened to me n my dr said its ok he told me to take regular strength Tylenol fr my headaches mine was bad n throbbing now dont get thm that much but I do have pain trying to walk n slp tender belly n bloatedness n pain smh

Yes you can. I had horrible tooth pain a few weeks ago and went to the dentist. They put 3 dental shields over my stomach when doing the x-ray. It turned out I needed a root canal.

Real ctrx come in waves the pain is intense. I had back labor with my dd and thought my pelvis was being ripped apart. Then it turned to hardcore menstrual cramps in my back that wrapped around my pelvis. Came in waves and eventually shot down into my thighs and they felt like they were on fire. Idk about how normal non back labor ctrx feel. But that's what I felt.

I had back and stomach labor. And i was fine. Only had morphine during labor. It all depends on the person.
