Avatar n tn I have always heard that it is ok to drink red wine or wine during pregnancy. Is that true? If so, how often would I be able to drink it throughout my pregnancy?
Avatar n tn I realized that if nevertheless I eat, it relaxes the pain but only temporary. If I drink red wine or if eat something with lemon like salad or farmer cheese with bread I feel that it is coming down to the area where it burns and it relaxes the pain somewhat. If I lift or do certain exercises with my legs, the pain seems to contain itself, slowly disappearing for couple of days. If I eat meatballs, serials, nuts, chocolate it seems to initiate the pain but I am not conclusive about it.
Avatar f tn And going up and down the stairs of my house without feeling winded...and eating sushi..some red wine..

Avatar f tn Hi I'm a 19 yr old female, not an alcoholic but I do drink a fair bit when an opportunity arises. In the past 2 nights ive gone out and drank a fair bit, wine/vodka, and I've woken up in the morning with severe abdominal pain in my right side, almost like menstrual cramps but burning, and a dull ache on the right side of my back. The pain brings me to tears and I need a hot water bottle and two panadols to ease the pain. It's never happened after drinking before, only the two times.
Avatar f tn Since then, I have this feeling on and off and get indigestion easily (had a strong one last night after a glass of red wine) and also have uncomfortable feeling in the pit of my stomach. I've never had a stomach symptom with my anxiety before but could it stem from it?
Avatar f tn So before getting pregnant I drank a glass of wine or two at most after work. I am now 12 wks along! I've heard that having ONE small glass of wine is ok?? Even up to everyday if desired? Any comments...

Avatar n tn I also have this nerve type pain in jaw radiating to and from ears after one beer & before I even finish a glass of wine once or twice a week. A doctor friend said it was the added sulfites so I started drinking organic red wine years ago with only natural sulfites, but this also causes the pain but not as severe.
Avatar f tn Red wine, breathing, stamina, stable moods, no more hip and back pain, bending over to pick things up, breathing, exercising, no more swelling, breastfeeding, breathing, no more indigestion, no more headaches, no more maternity clothes...breathing...
Avatar f tn Yes I have a glass of red wine occassionally and know others that have also drank red wine during pregnancy. I think in your first and second trimester it's one glass if red wine every week and once you get closer to the third trimester it was one glass a day. I was a little doubtful about it at first but after doing a lot of research I found that a glass of red wine is fine, it also has benefits for you and the baby bc red wine clears up toxins in the body as well.
