Could a yeast infection really last 3 years? I always though yeast would be itchy and flaky and possibly spread. This is never itchy. RAW only. VERY raw. like sunburnt skin feeling. Hello, on august 1st i had protected sex with a prostitute and about 7-8 weeks later i had gotten a bad case of folliculitis with a yeast infection. At that same time i inspected my genitals and i noticed 2-3 skin colored bumps on my scrotum. I'm 21 years old, and I have such a big discomfort from my vagina it's killing me. I keep myself very clean, specially since it started. I change my underwear twice a day and I haven't been wearing anything but lose fitting cotton panties. Its incredibly itchy, mostly at night when i'm tying to sleep. Along with doxycycline I was out on imiquimod but I stopped yesterday because I felt as tho it was the problem along with I felt like I am gettin a male yeast infection so now I started putting lotrimin on my penis head and under and on that rash but the rash just burns. Also I am circumcised and the guy I got that oral from had no lesions on his mouth.

1: does this sound like genital herpes?

Im worried I may have contracted herpes although I cant be sure because my symptoms dont look anything like the pictures I have seen. I have recently developed a rash on my shaft and balls that is incredibly itchy. The patches themselves are red and silvery. I also have a larger one on the outer skin of my foreskin which I have been treating with canasten cream as I thought it may have been yeast infection. It was healing but then i masturbated which set this insane itching off.

They are very small and accompanied by rash. The rash is more visible, redness and distressed skin, but the bumps are almost invisible and made more visible when erect. They appear to be under the skin, flesh colored with a white center.
I think they may extend into the urethra as well. I will scheduale an exam with a urologist. If anyone else has any suggestions or ideas I'd be more than thankful.
Athlete’s foot-like dermatitis flare-up between toe webbings on right foot after 2 months washing vegetables on farm wearing absorbent shoes/socks. After scratching with left foot, dermatitis spreads to both feet. Symptoms moderate to severe. Vigorously rub pinky-toe webbing with fatty edge of right hand with saw-like motion. I believe this is when the infection set in to hand.

I thought it was dermatitus or balantitus by lookong at other pictures. I also thought it could be a fungal or yeast infection. When the rash is present the head is very sensitive and hurts when it rubs. I stopped having sex with my wife for awile until it cleared up. After a female touched her vagina then touched my penis and have me a hand job I had a bit of redness and dry cracked lines on the tip of my penis. I went to the doctor and they said it seems like I have a yeast infection so they gave me canistan cream and I've been using this for weeks now and the symptoms are not going away. Does anyone know why? Is it true that some yeast infections may need antibiotics if the cream are not working? Would be grateful if someone could help me. Thanks!

Hi, most topical skin irritations are fungal related and can happen from oral sex as causes a change in the skins PH. Basicly a yeast infection. If its has not cleared up by now you need to see your doctor for evaluation and also have the doc take a look at the bumps but from the location dont seem like HPV or even herpes as would be more on the shaft or pubic mount area.
However your dermatologist is right in sending the samples for yeast infection as there is a possibility of fungal skin infection on account of the lesion being itchy.
If the KOH examination of the skin sample comes negative then get a skin biopsy done from a dermatologist to confirm the diagnosis and rule out lichen planus.

The next day it went down but was very itchy and red. Now it looks nasty! the skin right before the tip has a nasty rash and is painful. the rash is kind of on the tip of my penis also. there is a white kind of slimey layer on some of the rash also. i have been struggling with jock itch for some time now. also my right big toenail is very yellow. i mention that because it is also a fungus. ive been very tired and irratable as of late also.
The rash is hard to describe I would describe it as...imagine swollen skin which heals and is now stretched and thin also very shine in the right lighting and soft like glass...Does anyone have any suggestions??? It doesn't bother me at all its right under the foreskin it doesn itch or anything doesn't seem to get bigger either, is there any way i had a fungus which healed and left that rash type of mark? And also the doctor tested me for all type of stds all negative.
