WENT TO DR WHO ADVISED I TAKE ANTIBIOTICS AS IT WAS EARLY SIGN OF INFECTION OF THE SINUSES. BETWEEN 22ND AND 25TH JAN DIDNT TAKE ANTIBIOTICS BUT FELT SINUS LIKE AND HAD A COUGH WHICH HAD YELLOWISH MUCUS. HAD NIGHT SWEAT ON 2 DAYS AND HEAD WAS CLOGGED EVERYTIME I WENT OUT IN THE COLD WEATHER. STARTED 7 DAY ANTIBIOTICS COURSE ON 26TH AND TODAY- 2ND FEB- STILL HAVE LIGHT SINUS SIGNS. NO SORE THROAT OR FEVER THAT NEEDED ANY TREATMENT THUS FAR.
Are you seeing any signs of infection? It will probably take some time to heal, but as long as you keep the area clean- it should get better. If it doesn't get better or you start to see signs of infection, or it's just bothering you too much- call and make a doctor appointment to have it looked at.
I got a cut and its starting to scab. The more shallow area of the wound is pinkish/red but in the middle towards the deeper part it is yellow. It's not puss, as the entire wound already has hard scabbing tissue over it and there are no liquids coming from it. There are no signs of infection (excessive pain, foul odor, puss, or hottness around the wound) I am just concerned about the yellow color. What could this be? Is it a sign of infection?

The wound healed by only using an antibiotic cream but whenever I step on rigid surface like stone or ceramic I feel something is inside and it hurts so much. Burns can get infected pretty easily, so it's a good idea if you are seeing red around it and it's not getting better- to see a doctor to ensure that it's not an infection. These are some typical signs of infection-
Expanding redness around the wound.
Yellow or greenish-colored pus or cloudy wound drainage.
Red streaking spreading from the wound.
Increased swelling, tenderness, or pain around the wound.
Fever.
Hot to the touch.
I had a bladder infection at the time and was in alot of pain, plus I have a very small/short torso,so I was always uncomfortable and having back pain from about 28 weeks on, so with those 2 factors I had no idea idea was in labor. My water didn't break or anything. I spent 14 hours idea labor at home! Without even knowing I was in labor.
So it's not always a feeling like "BAM, I'm in labor!" Or something..
