Yes is like a sharp pain, my happens by my hip bone (kinda) on the right... good luck ladys, now we know that is part of the 13-14 weeks...

I am a 19 yo white female who has been experiancing excrutiating chest and right arm pain after sneezing. The pain starts in my upper chest, very similar to the pain experianced when one has a brochoncial infection and has been coughing for a long time. It racks around my chest cavity and is a very sharp, prolonged pain. The pain also moves down my right arm, stopping usually before it goes into my palm.

If you are having sharp pain in your chest you should get it checked out. Seriously, you should go to Urgent care of an ER or something. You do not want to mess with chest pain. It could be nothing, or something serious. There is no way to tell unless you get checked out. Please get some help. Constant coughing or sneezing might make your chest hurt, but sharp pain can indicate other problems too. I had chest pain really bad a few weeks back and found out I had pneumonia.

I think I tore either a muscle or ligament under my left lung from sneezing and turning my head toward the right,ever since then I feel a sharp pain around there and it seems the pain has now traveled to the other side and up more on the internal side ,will this ever heal on its own or will it get worse. What did you do to fix the tear?

ve described here, and insist on having a chest exam. Green mucus can be a sign of infection. Chest pain should never be ignored, and should definitely be looked at by a physician in order to rule out any thing serious. Years ago, I had symptoms much like yours, but I chose to skip the doctors visit and stay home. It turned out that I had bronchitis, then developed pneumonia.

Pleuritis and Pulmonary embolism are other possibilities causing shortness of breath with chest pain. A CT scan of the chest can rule out both. Another possibility that can explain the pain is pericarditis. It causes chest pain aggravated by laughing yawning and deep breathing and also causes radiation of pain to arms. Again an EKG, heat echo and chest X-ray is required. Of these pleuritis, pulmonary embolism (especially this) and pericarditis cause breathlessness as well.

Hello. :) I'm a 25 year old, 5'4", 110 lb, female. I walk or bike at least 3 times a week for 35-45 minutes. I am on birth control pills. I am adopted and have no known genetic medical history. Since October I've been experiencing chest pains and am currently experiencing my third episode. I've always been very healthy and am, therefore, concerned about this somewhat recent chest pain stuff.

Have you ever sneezed and like felt pain in your ovary area? Thats what it felt like. I think your right i probably just moved to fast or pulled something.

It is most likely to be a muscle or intercostal ligament tear located between the ribs, although that should usually hurt worse with deep breaths. Cinnamon in the lungs should not cause pain, especially sharp pain. The other possibility is that you may have a pneumothorax, which is air in the chest with a collapsed lung.

thank you factorymomma for clearing that up! i was reading and thinking someone had to stop the madness! i don't understand why you would resist a sneeze at all? its not like its impolite to sneeze or anything. not only that but they are so satisfying when you do! they actually say that sneezing is close to a tiny orgasm! i always figure you are sneezing for a reason. i don't understand why you would hold them back every time.

i was just wondering if its normal to get pains low in your stomach when sneezing. i was sharp, right in the middle, and lasted about 10 seconds then was gone. I have also been getting some random pains one either side that come and go throughout the day. Do i need to worry about any of this or is it just normal growing pains?

m lying a certain way, I feel a deep sharp pain when I sneeze that seriously feels like the placenta is going to detach from my uterus, LOL..I mean it's that bad. Like I did a quick tear. I go to the Dr. on Thursday and was going to ask but think it may be kind of silly. I have had it on both sides and think I remember it my last pregnancy too. I think it's normal but glad you mentioned it too!
