4 days ago pcp changed my beta blocker from propranolol 40mg twice daily to metprolol er 25mg daily d/t low pulse in 40s- 50s. Been on propranolol for 22yrs for PVCS. She had me just stop propranolol and start metoprolol, been experiencing shakiness, occassional pvcs, headache, nausea, pulse still 45 - low 60s at rest and with exertion 70-90. Should she have tapered propranolol or will the metoprolol block the more serious withdrawal symptoms ie: HTN, chest pain ect.
I have been taking Pantoprazole for 10 years and now decided to take a probiotic. could this be making me have cramps?
I also take amlodipine and propranolol.
Are the store brand diapers just as good as the name brand ones like Huggies and pampers? My mom tells me you should by the store brand to save money because they work just as well, but is that true? Thank u I did try it but it made my blood pressure low so my doc started me on propranolol 10mg 2x daily have u ever heard of that I use to take 40mg of propranolol for having fast heart rate I took it for ten yrs and on july 1, 2013 I got the gastric bypass surgery and I took myself off the propranolol cuz my heart rate stayed low and I was scared to take it because it lowers ur heart rate more after all that's why they prescribed the propranolol in the first place ten yrs ago but it wasn&#
It is possible, Thyroid meds are funny, what works well for one does not work well for others, I was on (Generic) Levothyroxine for six months and my labs did not budge, then went to Synthroid (brand Name) and had better sucess, my endo claimed that generics were not as consistant as name brand. Pharmacy said they are the same? So the change may have made a difference, some times the fillers they use can cause issues also.
m going to save myself $200 and try to trust the generic, or buy the brand name again. Its just nice, a rare luxury for me to have a brand name medication of any kind and its the most important one for me. I trust the original maker very much. And here's my argument on the whole generic thing. Sure the FDA Tested a batch of each clonazepam generic maker's pills, but it has to be understood that not every single pill or batch can be tested.
I've read all the comments here and today I called a refill in for Brand Name Klonpin...I've been taking the generic for years. I will post back and let you know if I feel a difference.

I recently gave birth to my son 4 weeks ago and during my pregnancy I was put on Propranolol 20mg twice a day to help lower my blood pressure and also because I was having panic attacks that would cause heart palpitations. Now fast forward to now I recently have been having heart palpitations resting, lying down, standing up too fast, sitting down too fast, bending over, you name it I’ve been been having them consistently throughout the day.
If it ends in "olol", it is a BB. There is metoprolol, propranolol, atenolol, labetalol... There are many. That is, of course, just the generic name.
So originally i had the name Tailyn && my mom chose the middle name L'orèal && my bf is letting me choose the name. But he told me recently that L'orèal is much cutter && i should switch it. Idk What do you think???
Thetam01~ Levothyroxine, and Synthroid are both for HypOthyroidism. my son is on Levoxyl (same med... diff name).... :)
but nana~ I agree... they should've given you a THYROID med. If they get your thyroid under control you can get pregnant. you should be able to healthily.
Has anyone tried PROPRANOLOL for prevention of Migraines? I have struggled with headaches almost every day & Migraines aprox every 7-10 days for the last 10 years. Feverfew has helped but they now seem to be getting worst so I was thinking of asking my GP if I could try Propranolol.
I have been given propranolol to take as I have had continuous palpitations since monday and my heartrate has randomly shooting up in the 100's (not related to posture!!) These will also help with my bp, it has been creeping up.

I've been taking Propranolol for high blood pressure and tachycardia(10mg at 8am, 2pm, and 8pm) for about 18 days now, and four days ago I woke up feeling quite dizzy. Since then it seemed to get better, but now I feel lethargic, dizzy, and generally unwell. Is it my drug?

I've been on only 10 mg of Propranolol for about 2 weeks now and feel that it has helped me a bit with my GAD. I have normal blood pressure, and was thinking about asking my doc for a higher dose to see if the improvement would continue.
The lethargy is what bothers me the most since I already have a pretty low energy level. I wanted to get some opinions on here about taking some kind of diet supplement that is suppose to help with energy.
