I took Celexa for a few months, it made me very tired and I yawned a lot. I was taking 40mg when i stopped and I do believe that was too much, i felt more anxious. You can take it in the morning or in the evening. I recently just switched back to Prozac, as it does not make me tired. Does buspirone make you tired too?

My point here, if I really have one, is many of these symptoms come and go for us. Many often occur because of stress and worry, others because of physical reasons. Please hang in there and see what evolves - I know its hard to do when it is happening in your body. I hope something in here makes sense and you get some answers that you can really use, soon.

Prior to being pregnant I would take 5-10mg of Propranolol a few times a month for performance anxiety. I have withheld using it so far but it has really hindered me at work. I have a big presentation I need to give this week in front of 150 people and fear getting on stage without taking it. However, I am also nervous about any potential harm to my baby. Can you clarify if it is safe to use propranolol (5mg) infrequently during the remainder of my pregnancy??? thank you very much!!

I get overheated and sweaty from vacuuming the floor lol. I'm on zoloft 150 mg and Buspar 5 mg 2x days. I was diagnosed with depression, anxiety disorder and hypocondrosis. I'm a female and 31 years old.

The nebivolol bystolic didnt get the besr reviews from what ive seen. thats just my experiences and what things have worked and not worked for me on an individual basis. I feel some of my pvcs are caused by anxiety,some by exercise or increase in working out and some by large meals. Other people actually have more at lower heart rates and exercise actually helps them where it has the opposite effect for me.

I have tried prozac, lexapro, zoloft, and wellbutrin. They did absolutely nothing for my social anxiety disorder. There's no guarantee nardil will work either, but the literature suggests it is the best medication for my disorder. I'm too afraid to take the pill form, but would gladly take it injected.

Please note that propranolol is a beta blocker and, in addition to quelling anxiety, will lower blood pressure. Generally speaking this medication is not given if the systolic blood pressure falls below 100.

My nervousness ended immediately, though I had a mild headache from even one-half cup withdrawal of coffee. This morning I took Buspar and did not have any coffee, and Buspar worked much better for me. I still need the coffee, due to other medication, but I don't think that Buspar and coffee at the same time is the way to go.

t seem to work for me, they make me extremely irritable and give me chest pains. Tried strattera but it made me extremely emotional, to the point of sobbing for no reason. My doctor put me on Buspar, 5 mg 2x a day to help with my ADHD...but I have not read any solid literature on Buspar and its effects on ADHD symptoms. Is this a good drug to go on for ADHD? Has anyone else been on this drug for ADHD?

And, yes, I have noticed some stuttering, but mostly when I am excited about something and try to talk too fast. I have been on these meds for about a month, and I do see the stuttering becoming less and less. For me, I think it is just part of my body adjusting to the new mix, and that it will go away. All I can tell you is that maybe the same will happen for you, and if not and it's really bothersome, go back to your doctor.

Does anyone take propranolol for anxiety and panic attacks? I've had crippling anxiety for my whole life. Antidepressants increase it to the point where I'm in such a state I almost pass out from hypervenitlating. I've heard propranolol is good for this, and is effective.

This is a new symptom, and disturbing, because Buspar does seem to help anxiety for me; I even felt it was going to be a miracle drug. But I can't have anger coming out of the blue. Has anyone else had a similar experience?

Do you recommend taking the Paxil at the same time as Buspar, and then another Buspar (as needed) later in the day? Or just Paxil in the morning, one Buspar in the afternoon, and one later on (I know this is according to each person, I am just curious). AND, will the Buspar actually combat the anxious feelings? Not the panic attack feelings (Paxil works for me on that), I just need to get rid of this leftover anxiety!!!!!!!!!!!

Has any one ever come across speech difficulty, either slurred or stuttering speech, along with migraines? I have done research on the subject and have come up with the slurred speech issue with migraines but not stuttering and i'm trying to help my twin with her migraines and speech difficulties from ending her career.

I also do take the beta-blocker pindolol which has kept my BP at 125/70 for years. Shrink says very occasional and use of propranolol on top of pindolol should not be a problem but I still have concerns which I will run by my GP. I actually did receive a call from my pharmacy pointing out the risk of a low BP problem. So...I am wondering if anyone has used propranolol or has an educated opinion on both its use in ED and possible interactions.

I was on 100mg of Zoloft three years ago and I am now back on 100mg of Zoloft. The weird thing is about this medication is that it can also cause weight loss. I find that a regular exercise routine is great; it is also a natural way to deal with anxiety and depression and not to mention the fact, lowers blood pressure. I have been on it for a couple of months now and have stayed at the same weight with exercise. I have never taken buspar...good luck!

everyone is different tho and anything can be abused even buspar but is not a drug of choice for most like a benzo would be...so it is considered much safer but no instant effect as a rule...valium is often used as a detox for stronger benzos like xanax and ativan.....benzo dot org dot uk has some great info on benzo tapering.......i have never heard of a buspar addict but i have not heard of everything yet!

I have a history of migraines for about twenty years. I quit smoking 7 months ago, and started propranolol 20 mg once a day. I gained 30 pounds. My whole body is sore and Im having episodes where my upper body and sometimes legs just feel so heavy and tired I feel like Im going to pass out. Had a Head CT, Head and Neck CTA, CBC, EKG all were normal. Is it related to migraine? ER doctor said it is anxiety. Oh I stopped celexa five months ago because I was extremely fatigued.

is it just my opiate withdrawals or should I be concerned? I have some Propranolol(anxiety/hypertension) and Buspar(anxiety) witch is kinda like a non-benzo Xanax. Is it a bad idea to use these to help? I also have Gabapentin(Neurontin) could this help me also? so far I've got the most relief from OTC Imodium, But still can't sleep, I have some seraquil but last time I used it, it made me reall restless. Any suggestions for sleep aid?

I have been taking buspar (5mg 2x a day) for almost 2 weeks now and I seem to be having some side effects. I have been feeling tired (due to trouble sleeping) and having headaches as well. I am also having trouble sleeping. I know that it could take a while for this med to kick in but I am still worried about the side effects. Has anyone ever taken this med and is there any advice you can give me?

I know propranolol is used for PTSD...but what should I ask for in the pharmacy and what is the dosage? Are there any serious effect if taken without proper knowledge?
