I am not qualified to answer that question either, but I did see a 20/20 investigation once that vet drugs and human drugs are most times exactly the same except in price. Human drugs cost many more times the cost of vet drugs, and of course may be in different strengths. I am in no way encouraging you to do something that might be harmful to your animal, just throwing that out there.
ve always known my partner would occasionally use prescription drugs, but I was never convinced he was abusing them until recently. He has been taking xanax daily (unprescribed) for the past couple of years and to my knowledge only takes norco/vicodin (unprescribed) when he has to work or is in pain. He has never been prescribed either of these drugs, as he is uninsured. A family who does not use their xanax gives my boyfriend open access to their monthly prescription.
As I answered in your other post I never have met anyone that used heroin "recreationally" this has obviously been a long battle for you and my advice would be getting into a detox/rehab asap! Why drag it out any longer (unless your not ready to stop)? You mentioned you were willing to go in a program and it worked for me so cut to the chase and check in!! It will be the best thing you could do for yourself and you take it out of your hands!!!

when did your weekend binges turn into daily use? i used to recreationally mess around with pills and i would do a bunch on the weekends and nothing during the week. i always wondered if/when i would cross the line. i never went to far, well, not far enough to have to go to rehab or lose my job.
I have been prescribed adderall for 7 years with the same dosage, and have never abused it. I smoked marijuana recreationally, but found it much much easier to quit than the other stuff I had done. The job was well aware of my prescription to adderall, and they had my prescribing doctor's phone number to confirm that I was being prescribed the medication. I have hyperactivity and obsessive compulsive disorder, the adderall calms me down.

I don't know anything about Illinois but if you're currently using drugs recreationally I would err on the side of caution for your child. I have heard that most states *will* test you in labor and if you come up positive they'll test your child. If there are drugs in yall's system CPS can come take your baby away. I don't participate in drugs of any kind but when I went into labor the first thing the hospital did was drug test me. I believe it's standard procedure.
I had ever had any illegal drugs but pot and for some reason, prob because its prescription, I thought that OC would be fine....wrong! I was addicted before I knew what was going on! I have 3 boys, 8,7 and 3 who need their mommy back...clean! I always thought they made me super mom and they did in a sense but what a price to pay.
