I have searched all over the web and several medical and medication reference books at the library and can find not a single place where it says that Finasteride has anything to do with the problem of blood in the semen. All I have read points to Finasteride lessening the symptoms of BPH, symptoms I do not have.
Avatar n tn I am not qualified to answer that question either, but I did see a 20/20 investigation once that vet drugs and human drugs are most times exactly the same except in price. Human drugs cost many more times the cost of vet drugs, and of course may be in different strengths. I am in no way encouraging you to do something that might be harmful to your animal, just throwing that out there.

Addiction is a crazy thing that makes u do things you would never do in ur right mind. I still to this day have to pay the price for my mistakes. My 13 year old daughter come home talking about her friends stealing meds from their parents. I am so thankful I do not keep narcotics in my home.

There are quite a few OTC meds and also some prescription med that are non Opiate -- i.e. Lyrica, etc. Congratulations on Day 7 -- that is awesome --- You are through the worst of the W/D's and will probably only have to deal with a lack of energy for awhile. Hope you will stay away from the pills -- each time you withdraw it gets harder to do it. All the best.
