Phentermine weight watchers

Common Questions and Answers about Phentermine weight watchers

phentermine

Avatar f tn I just started Phentermine 37.5mg last week. I haven't had a weigh in yet but I have noticed that I have cut way back on my food intake. I have talked with friends that have taken it in the past and they said that they got the best results when they combined it with a good, healthy diet and started exercising. That could be the jump start you need if you haven't started working out yet!
410475 tn?1262942367 Have you tried weight watchers? Phentemine is not a drug of choice anymore for weight loss as it has many side effects....good ole exercise and counting calories works....and gaining a pound or 2 a day is not normal...you could have an underlying condition causing you to retain fluid...get it checked out...or maybe you were exaggerating!
Avatar f tn 5mg by my doctor and was told to sign up for weight watchers. I have been doing this for 7 weeks now and I have lost 22lbs. But this week I started walking 45mins a day and Im well below my points for weight watcher and I have gained 2 whole pounds this week. Im doing everything right so why am i gaining if im taking the meds doing weight watchers drinking plenty of water and walking? its just so frusturating.
Avatar f tn I have taken phentermine for weight loss under the direction of a doctor and lost 40lbs. I feel great. I'm continuing with the same exercise and diet regimine (weight watchers), that I was on while taking the phentermine and I seem to be putting some weight back on. I dont quite understand this. I was wondering if anyone knows of any over the counter medications that help to supress appetite because it seems the only way i'll stay thin is to practicly starve myself.
Avatar f tn I am about 30-40 lbs overweight and some of my friends and co-workers have been doing the medical weight loss with the B-12 shots and Phentermine pills. I am so scared to take the pills because I am terrified about my heart. I feel I don't have a lot of options because due to constantly being depressed and having anxiety about the skipped beats I eat to make myself feel better. I know it's the easy way out but I would love to do it and get the weight off.
Avatar m tn i started my weight loss program last month and i have lost 22 pounds so far. the medications i am taking is phentermine 37.5 and triamterene 37.5. i have tried so many expensive programs like jenny craig and weight watchers. don't get me wrong i lost weight but never this fast and easy. my doctor also suggested an injection absorbs fat in your midsection. i am really excited about my weight loss.
1905208 tn?1321793187 The problem with taking drugs or other weight loss aids is that once you go off them, it's extremely likely that you will regain the weight. I've tried green tea and it's never done anything for me, but if it works for you, great. According to Dr James Beckerman, who is a cardiologist on the MH site, there is no scientific data to support the HCG diet.
Avatar f tn Hi KT. good to hear from you again. Have you been able to get any test result data from the doctor, that you could post for us, along with reference ranges? I'd really like to see what tests have been done and what the levels looked like. So this Endo said nothing about any thyroid issues, but would readily prescribe you Phentermine for weight loss????? That's unbelievable. Check this info on Phentermine.
Avatar f tn I then started trying all kind of weight loss programs, like nutrisytem and weight watchers, but I still got no results. Then I started taking all kind of over the counter so called fat burners, but that didn't work either! Finally, a few months ago I found this forum and I heard about a prescription weight loss pill, phentermine 37.5 mg. I read so many comments from people that had such great results that I decided to do some research on it myself.
Avatar m tn This helps me alot maybe now my husband will get off my back about weight watchers . He gose no you just eat like weight watchers and add the carbs in too ur pump don't worry about the carbs is this right ? i know it sounds like the same question but it isn't .
Avatar n tn Ive been a weight watchers member for 9 weeks now and have not lost any weight. Im very frustrated I was diagnosed with Hashimotos/Hypothyroid last Sept and im taking synthroid as a result. My levels were normal ( 1.0) last December. Am i to expect SSLOOOOOOOW results because I am just frustrated. Is there anyone out there that has any suggestions of how im going to loose this weight (15 pounds)??
Avatar f tn Has anyone done this diet and seen the results they were looking for? I'm very interested in Weight Watchers and would like to hear people's experiences to know I'm not going to wasting my time and money..... Any responses are welcome. THANKS.
676912 tn?1332812551 I used weight watchers method to lose the almost 40lbs I gained with Franky. It's basically portion control and food choices. If you want to eat mcdonalds you can, but then that is all you are allowed to eat for the day pretty much...lol. I bought the book set on ebay for $50 I think, and never joined the group just did it on my own. It tells you all the foods points even for restaraunts, and how many you are allowed for your specific body type and goals.
Avatar m tn You make a great point that weight loss medication like phentermine is not a long term weight loss solution. If you do go back to old habits, you might expect to gain back the weight that you lost. But the good news is that you're in a good starting place and you are still motivated to keep it going. Good luck! Dr. B www.theflexdiet.
494656 tn?1209640771 I know that if I could just lose this weight it would take alot of pressure off of me. Please someone help me to find a weight dr. who offers phentermine and B12 shots. Thank you so very much.
Avatar f tn Crying all the time with panic attacks and scared feelings as well as sleeping issues. I got mine from a weight loss clinic who explained to me it is not the phentermine causing any of this. I feel like a different person snapping at my family who tells me I am different now also. DOES ANYONE KNOW HOW LONG IT CAN LAST? Am I crazy did anyone else experience any of these issues.
Avatar n tn m curious why more studies have not been conducted to study the correlation between phentermine and acne? Acne is not listed as a possible side effect of phentermine, but phentermine is considered a methamphetamine; methamphetamines are known to causes acne. I am a biology teacher and am frustrated that medical professionals are not confirming the overwhelming reports of acne being associated with phentermine. Is it a conspiracy????
Avatar f tn Neither of these drugs are supposed to cause weight gain either. Phentermine is a stimulant/appetite suppressant. I am going to try liposage slim wrap this week and see if that helps.
Avatar f tn I've been taking monthly B12 injections for about 2 years, and 37.5 mg phentermine daily for about a month, and I haven't lost any weight at all. The four and a half pounds that I've lost, I attribute to the boot camp that joined two weeks ago.
Avatar m tn Since being diagnosed I have started taking a half tablet of phentermine to control my appetite in an effort to lose weight. I also started taking birth control again. My doctor also prescribed taking metformin(glucophage) in addition to the phentermine and birth control. I have lost about 8 pounds in the last month since taking the phentermine but i dont feel like I am losing enough weight for how little i have been eating.
Avatar f tn d never recommend phentermine, even though it does work for weight loss. The problem is that when people stop taking it, they almost always gain back everything they lost, plus some.
Avatar f tn In January of 2015 I started taking Phentermine in just 3 months I lost a total of 50 lbs it was amazing than I became pregnant and had my baby in December of 2015 I breast fed her for 2 months than I decided to start back with phentermine to my surprise Phentermine was no longer helping me I was doing exactly what I did in the beginning 1200 calories a day 30 min work out 3 times a week but I would get crazy hungry at night I felt light headed and even though I worked out I still felt so lazy
Avatar n tn My body aches and im tired alot and i have been taking phentermine to help loose weight but i lost 10lbs and thats all.
397118 tn?1219762250 Hi everyone, I know I have ask you guys about the sub, Trileptal and Lexapro making you gain weight so I ask my psyc. about it and he looked in his little book and said that it is not reported to really increase appetite but there are studies that say that lexapro does but he also said but the pill dosen't weigh 10 pounds so I think you will be ok.
Avatar n tn I too have done Phentermine (it is banned in canada now) and lost weight. You cannot be on it forever and your advice is bang on!! You do have to get up and move to burn calories. The food tracker in here is awesome!! It really makes you look where your food calories are coming from.
Avatar f tn as you all said befor im not getting the cals i need to lose weight and that is because im scared to eat so i belive maybe weight watchers will help that please tell me what you think my mother inlaw is doing weight watchers and seems to be doing pretty well please help
Avatar f tn I was given phentermine 15 mg by a "doctor" at a weight loss clinic. I'm a bit skeptical because of all the negative reviews I have read. I am currently 136 at 5' 3'' and want to get to my pre pregnancy weight of 120. I have tried other diets and just cant seem to get the extra weight off. My son is now 1 and i'm starting to feel a bit depressed about the extra pounds. Is 15 mg enough for me to lose the weight?
729886 tn?1232662881 I really don't want to turn this into a lecture but I have pretty strong opinions about diet pills and I'll just say I really don't love the idea that you're taking Phentermine. I'm very wary of any type of diet pill (with the exception of Alli maybe) and a lot of them are very dangerous. Not to mention, diet pills are a short term solution.
