paxil

Avatar m tn 6 billion per year niche in the United States the findings are causing some distress in the whole industry. There will be some interesting rebuttal, no doubt. http://www.newsweek.
Avatar n tn Any doc who tells you to just stop taking Paxil is one to avoid for your mental health care -- the news about the difficulty in stopping these drugs, and especially Paxil, is so old now anyone who doesn't know to slowly taper and monitor should be avoided.
Avatar f tn You might want to have your blood pressure checked.. You can do this at a pharmacy for free. If you have access to a Dr. even better he can give you something to help with that feeling... I have never done paxil but from what I understand there is anxiety involved.. I do have high blood pressure and I have had that sensation when mine was up.. I wish you well..
535822 tn?1443976780 The New York Post today has said that there is a push for the 9/11 Trial to go to Govenor's Island , A lower Manhatton Community board called on fed officails yesterday to move the trail of the terrorists to Govenor's Island and passed a resolution demanding the shift, in a hearing with Downtown Residents who loathe the idea of the threats that would ensue and the lockdown it would involve, this makes sense to me , what say you ....

467977 tn?1262714747 Does anyone know if these are the same? I used to take Paroxetine generic (civilian world) and now realized the army pharmacy gives me Paxil but they label it "Paxil (Paroxetine)" on the bottle....hmmmmmmmmm.............
Avatar m tn Any drug that affects brain neurotransmitters can have unusual consequences, but this is probably a very rare side effect if it exists. Antidepressants do, however, and this is unknown to most users and doctors, usually affect choline receptors, and choline is very important to normal brain function including cognitive ability. Paxil is the strongest of all of them, I think, in its affinity for choline receptors.
Avatar m tn Bro only taking half the pill which is 5 mgs instead of 10 them when 2 weeks go by I gotta take the whole pill to see how it fully affects me
Avatar f tn Has anyone ever felt a horrible vulnerable feeling? Kind of like you would feel if u were standing naked in the middle of a huge crowd... I always get this terrible feeling. I always have ever since I was little and now I'm 23. I don't know what it is. It is sometimes accompanied by rapid heart beats, nausea, blurred vision, and dizziness and can last anywhere from 10 minutes to 5 hours. But it is seriously the worst feeling in the world!!
Avatar f tn i take paxil also and i get the shakes, usually they're worse in the morning. i think it could be your meds or your anxiety or both. take care.
Avatar n tn s a week for no less than 90 min, i added a 1/2 hour of running to my workouts, no budge, very frustrating, i made an appt today to get off the paxil, im glad to read the weight comes off, nothing fits. i would rather go off them and lose the weight.
Avatar m tn Okay. You've made it complicated. You must take the dose at the same time every day. All ssris other than Prozac do leave the body fairly quickly, though not that quickly, but there are people who suffer withdrawals when they miss a dose. By not taking your dose at the same time you are essentially missing doses. But the problem is, everything you're reporting is a possible side effect of taking antidepressants.
Avatar f tn I have considered going back on Lexapro or paxil so I can maybe eliminate the anxiety It feels like I have awful epigastric pain that awakens me with the trembling usually around 3am. Any suggestions?
Avatar n tn i have this exact problem.....i also have buzzings in the back of my head where the sweating is.....

It is causing me to wake up in the night with panic attack like symptoms. I have been to a card. and had ekg, stress test and echocardiogram. thyroid fine sugar levels fine. This is only in the morning and middle of the night.Doctor can't find anything wrong and want me to take antidepressants. I am totally fearful of med. and side effects.
Avatar f tn hello again, as some may know on this forum, i was on klonopin for 4 months .25 am/pm. i did great on it! i started feeling a little anxious a few weeks ago and was actually starting to have panic attacks again, so 4 days ago i decided to move up to .5 mg am/pm. im still having anxiety and some minor attacks. i dont know if i need to give it more time or if i need a higher dose? but the main problem is.
Avatar f tn But some will use Prozac at the tail end of your withdrawal to try and wean off the Paxil because Prozac stays in the body much longer than other of these meds and is therefore usually easier to wean off of. For a good description of this, The AntiDepressant Solution by Joseph Glanville is a good book. Wish I'd had it before my quack psychiatrist ruined my life. Because you know in advance what to look for, this won't happen to you. Simple as that.
Avatar n tn When I went back in at the end of January he stated my sinuses were worse than the first time I saw him and he wasn't sure about the acid reflux. He then gave me another antibiotic for another round and switched me to raniditine. had allergy testing done in March as it wasn't better and a CT showed my deviated septum and two sinuses that appeared to be infected. The allergist stated that what he found he didn't associate with what was happening during the season and time period.

527657 tn?1214051850 Paxil is not known to cause weight gain. In clinical trials, weight gain by people on Paxil was the same as for placebo, and therefore not deemed an adverse effect.
Avatar f tn txt Check out this link! Every now and then I just google Chiari and see if it is in the news anywhere! Sounds like someone or everyone here should do a bit more research!
Avatar f tn I've read a few posts about anxiety and tremors. My tremors started when I started medication. I've tried sooo many different meds and get bad side effects. The meds really did a number on me. Now I have the shakes in my hands and left leg all the time. Sometimes it's hard to write. I'm getting an MRI in 2 days to check.
