I was recently diagnosed with 2 ovarian cysts. One measuring 2.9cm and the other one just starting to grow beside it. My doctor wants to wait and see... My next appointment is not until august. I get random bouts of nausea throughout the day and need help looking for a way to remedy that. I have pills the doctor has given me for the dizziness I experience. Does anyone know of any herbal remedies or vitamins that could help and I could use for my nausea.

I am sorry you are going through this. I had an ovarian cyst and wish my gynecologist had taken a conservative approach. Instead, I was rushed into surgery and over-treated. Scar tissue is a real risk. And there are other risks such as losing the ovaries and their life-long vital functions. Or even if the ovaries are not removed, the surgery could affect their function.
I am 27 years old and just recently I was diagnosed of having bilateral ovarian cysts. It was detected when my doctor recommends for a whole abdominal ultrasound. I had sharp pain in the morning and was relieved with fart or poo. I may recur during the day but was persistent in two weeks. My doctor suspected for gastrointestinal problem since I also had gas problems. I was not relieved with the prescribed medicine thats why an ultrasound was done.
This has to get checked out by a doctor for best treatment options. I would not really try any home remedies unless you consult a doctor first. Some remedies could make things worst. Also I wanted to point out, all weight goes up and down each day. We bloat around the time of our period which doesn't help. I advise not to check weight everyday (OR if you do) do it the same time and same outfit, so you know your true weight.
I felt so good after getting that removed. I would very much doubt that herbal remedies could shrink a cyst that size. By not having surgery you risk rupture or torsion (twisting) which is a medical emergency. Try and treat your recovery time as a mini vacation for you. You don't have to do anything but rest so plan your books, TV and movies and prepare to cocoon. Please let us know how it goes.
Sorry for my delayed response. I am not aware of any natural remedies for ovarian cysts although that doesn't mean there aren't any. Since your MRI was scheduled for today, I suppose you are still waiting on the results from your doctor. I am interested to hear what it showed.
Lots of women have ovarian cysts that are harmless and all be it painfully, pass on their own. I passed one a couple of years ago. Extreme cramping and heavy bleeding for a couple of days.
You have some complicating factors. I would absolutely go to another doctor to see if they say the same thing. Your doctor is saying that your cyst could turn into ovarian cancer. My mother in law died of ovarian cancer.
Do you know what type or size the cysts are? I'm concerned about them not being able to see the one ovary. Cysts seldom resolve themselves if they haven't after 2 menstrual cycles. Get a 2nd opinion - you shouldn't be grinning and bearing this - I would want them out so you know what you're dealing with and earlier is better.
I am 21 years old and last year July 2012 I had my right ovary removed due to a large ovarian cyst which had twisted and after passing all of the pain and sudden shock following my surgery I am once again in a pickle.
