I am sorry you are going through this. I had an ovarian cyst and wish my gynecologist had taken a conservative approach. Instead, I was rushed into surgery and over-treated. Scar tissue is a real risk. And there are other risks such as losing the ovaries and their life-long vital functions. Or even if the ovaries are not removed, the surgery could affect their function.
Sorry for my delayed response. I am not aware of any natural remedies for ovarian cysts although that doesn't mean there aren't any. Since your MRI was scheduled for today, I suppose you are still waiting on the results from your doctor. I am interested to hear what it showed.
I've been prone to ovarian cysts for 5years and am in near constant pain with them. I've tried different contraceptions, painkillers and keyhole surgery but they always return. My doctor said removing my ovary would be best but im too young- im only 21! My G.P is consulting with his senior for more options but I can't wait. Tests confirm they are abnormal cysts but cannot be operated on almost every month!
D and C or ablation is done for heavy periods resulting from endometrial hyperplasia and not for ovarian cysts. If you want to go the natural way then you can wait for a spontaneous regression of the ovarian cyst. This will require follow up with frequent ultrasound scans.

Also, look up apple cider vinegar and black strap molasses (this recipe drink is known to shrink ovarian cysts). And essential oils Frankincense, Clary Sage, and gerranium recipe. I had my ovary removed when I had the cyst removed but I'm also post menopausal so it really isn't the same as it is for you..

Diabetes is linked to those who suffer from insulin resistance. But there are different forms of PCOS. I do not have cysts and am not insulin risistance either. I am overweight, and had irregular periods along with ok excess facial hair. It is hard for us who have PCOS to get pregnant, but it is not impossible!! Every month I have recurring cysts especially on my right ovary. I had a ultrasound. They found that I had a cyst on my right ovary, which was very very small. The pain, an ovarian cyst can provide. But the bleeding? I've had a lot of ovarian cysts in my day and never once did any of them bleed. Bleeding like a period (or a little less) sounds like a progesterone drop for whatever reason.
