Renal blood tests and CBC were OK. I do like the 2nd ENT the most but she never suggested I might have WG -could 3rd ENT be overkill. Almost too anxious to biopsy. Thanks.

About 2 summers ago, I noticed I got lightly dizzy/spinning/spacey when I was overheated. I'd go inside and cool down, so I thought it was just the heat. the following summer, same symptoms just a little worse. Dec '08 I had a very bad flu for 2 1/2 weeks. my fever ranged from 101 to 105.
1763947 tn?1334058919 Often the 'science' is a bunch of articles the owners/board members etc have written. Or they're testimonials by 'satisfied customers', who may or may not be real customers. Scott Forsgren recommends them: "Ionic foot baths may be useful in helping the body to remove various toxins and increasing the body’s natural ability to excrete toxic substances via the liver and kidneys. I use a foot bath three times a week.

Avatar f tn In my constant search for ways to get antibiotics (in a state that won't treat Lyme--- Oregon) I came across this: (Yeah, I have antibiotic-seeking-behavior!) If your doctor won't treat you for Lyme disease (or for too short a time) this might be a way in the backdoor. Avatar f tn It's also a good idea to keep a food journal and record everything that you eat - sometimes we eat a lot more than we think we do. It's also a good idea, when you record the food you eat, to record how you feel at that time. That might help you figure out whether there are emotional triggers causing you to crave certain things. And then there's exercise.
Avatar f tn If you fail a drug screen they cannot prescribe narcotics for you again. Mollyrae has an informational article in her journal (check her profile page) on why this can happen. Unfortunately she is out ill or she would tell you to read it. We do have active members that the same things has happened. I will contact one and ask that she respond to your post also.
Avatar m tn I searched for cervical stenosis/dysautonomia on PubMed and turned up 4 medical journal articles, none of which seemed to actually be related to your question. If there is a link, I don't think anyone has researched it or done a case study on it yet. Sorry I couldn't find anything more helpful.
475586 tn?1225027354 God was really good to me because he started to put medical journal articles in my path that I was able to freely access and actually understand! One particular medical journal article that I was directed to was about rats that were exposed to low levels of mercury. Avatar n tn (a clinical text), a few psychiatric books on the thyroid gland, read PubMed abstracts and medical journal articles and probably everything to be found on the Internet...plus, I've been a member of yahoo's Natural Thyroid Hormone internet forum for over a year which is I think is the most informed group available. Many members have studied different aspects of hypothyroidism and are quite knowledgeable. It's hard to beat "listening to the patient" to really learn about this disease.
Avatar f tn I lost my job through ill-health when I was 40. I have lost my health and suffer with osteoarthritis everywhere. And recently have lost my voice. I have lost the love of my parents and my siblings, not because they have died, but because they have all shunned me. I have done everything for my parents for years and my mother accused me things I did not do and has had nothing to do with me since last year October.
Avatar n tn Even the recent widely publicized articles on long term problems in cancer patients from chemotherapy (that last up to 10 years!) don't even register a blip on your radar, you are so intent on being right, rather than delving for the real truth. I just do not get where you are coming from. You cling to your beliefs as if you just HAVE TO be right. I do not think at this point that if five hundred people posted regarding their post-tx related problems that you would pay it any mind.
408795 tn?1324939275 They don't even know that they are falling apart - which is why I am TOTALLY advise for people to keep a journal DAILY of feelings and sides... because the mental part can creep up on you - and you don't even notice it... It's an insiduous feeling.
Avatar f tn I have had osteoarthritis in by back for years, and my gut feelingis that this related. But it's just a guess. I can totally sympathize with everyone else who's had these symptoms! It's very unnerving.

Avatar f tn Osteoarthritis, Ligament damage, Meniscus damage or Patello-femoral disorder. You have mentioned that you have pain on kneeling down that is in extreme flexion. This suggests that it might be due to either meniscus injury or due Patello-femoral disorder. The location of pain says that it might be due to meniscus problem. When did your pain begin, what were you doing at the time, and what were the initial symptoms? Do you experience any grinding, locking, catching, or giving way of the knee?

Avatar n tn I have learned to respect its potency. I have kept a detailed journal for the last few months, ever since these symptoms started. I am one of those record-keeper type people. I can find the exact date I started taking something and the exact date when symptoms started to flare up. This has helped me tremendously because now I can say with some certainty the Albendazole caused these break-outs. I was free of TTO for weeks without any reaction, and there was no other drug or topical at work.
203342 tn?1328740807 The internet is the best at finding out all there is to know about this disease. It is managable, especialliy if caught early. The reason most articles say that life expectancy on medicine is only 2 years is becuase most dogs that get Cushings are already 10-12 years old. Also, many articles posted are old and new drugs have come out now that can treat the disease. My dog was 6 (we think) when she was diagnosed. We chose the drug Lysodren as a treatment.
