Avatar m tn For chronic pain look into supplementing with malic acid, as it's production in your system is inhibited by high levels of tartaric acid-a muscle toxin that causes pain and fatigue-. For acute pain DMSO (lab grade, 30% solution to distilled water, 10% for neck and up, one light application without rubbing over freshly washed skin) Best is to adapt a low carb diet , as carbs feed yeast metabolites that fuel the production of tartaric acid.

Avatar n tn In my last visit, she pointed out to me that in my c-scan in 2004 I had moderate osteoathritis in my spine and I went for another shoulder and neck xray to see if this could be causing the problems. I am a 44 year old female PE teacher and she felt this had shown up at a young age. I have played many sports and had minor injuries. I will have to wait for the x-ray resullts because I am in a remote area and they read tests once evry 2 weeks or so.

Avatar m tn As some of you may have read in other posts, I have lately been having symptoms of great fatigue, cold hands and feet, foggy head, etc... The fatigue comes on as a sensation in my arms and calves, and sometimes my neck. This is very concerning. I have noticed some changes in heart rate response (faster at times, maybe due to anxiety from all of this) and some increases in pvcs after eating certain things and upon waking.

Avatar f tn Hi, over the past year fatigue and extreme exhaustion has grown to the point where I'm missing 2-3 days of work a month. I'm sleeping 10-12+ hrs a night, where I normally would be able to function fine on 6-8 hrs. Some days Im so tired it feels like magnets are holding my body down and I struggle to even lift my head. I sometimes have 'brain fog' and have trouble concentrating as a result which makes it difficult for me to function at my job. I also seem to get frequent canker sores.
Avatar m tn I just noticed the fatigue in your topic heading. Fatigue is common with Lupus and Lyme. I also just noticed you said the hives come in the evening. Some people with lupus are sensitive to the sunlight (discoid lupus) and sometimes develope rash or hives after being exposed, though I don't know about the way rashes develope on persons with Lyme. I've not researched Lyme disease as well as I should but something to think on!
3105586 tn?1341483077 He recommended rheumotologist, but still have to wait several weeks to get in. In the meantime, I'm scared and sore and painful! Taking some vicodin and put on muscle rub.... but still, doesn't help much. ANY similiar stories out there or advice would really be appreciated as the more I get anxious , the more I focus on the pain! Not to be 'wierd' but if psychological stuff plays any part in it.... my Mom died in Feb. and all this started in April.
Avatar f tn He may have degeneration of the spine (osteoarthritis), hip and knee problems. He may have an infection at the moment caused either by bacteria or a virus. If it is a virus that is causing the weakness and fatigue, he needs to rest. Shame that he was not able to have all the imaging tests done, because that would have shown the doctor of what is going on with regard to his bones and nerves etc.
Avatar m tn The arthritis can cause burning and pain and since you have spinal issues that could be effecting your legs and buttock region. Perphrial neuropathy can also cause a burning sensation. Please discuss these problems with your doctor as you may have a pinched nerve or something else causing you to have these symptoms. Wishing you the best of luck and hope you get some relief soon.

I'm so tired and angry that after all these years of dealing with fibromyalgia that no one really understand all that I go through on a daily basis. It's a struggle to get up everyday and just live. I've been feeling suicidal lately and I just can't seem to get it together. I'm just so tired of being sick. Along with the fibro I've been getting blood transfusions ever 4-6 months. It's so hard to move around and be functional. Also, does anyone else get headaches after their IVIg infusions? I get one almost every time. I have one usually for 2-3 days after every infusion. I also feel an increase in pain each time. I would appreciate any reply. God bless you all.
