I am sorry to hear about your miscarriage. I think you might be right in connecting the infection with the miscarriage and your problem conceiving again. I am in a similar situation and recently found a book that I thought was very infomative. I think it would be worth you looking into this, maybe it is not your problem but do investigate it. Most regular OB/GYNs and REs do not talk about infections and reproductive problems yet there is strong evidence out there that there is a link.

Have you had your period yet? I think you need to make sure you pass everything once your period is over. There is a risk of infection if some of the pregnancy remains. I think they can check via a scan or something????

your symptoms sound like a yeast infection to me. i'm not so sure if the miscarriage caused it.

Then this afternoon it was hardly there. Could this be a yeast infection? Is it harming my baby If I wait til my doctors appt tomorrow?

Hello back in january I had a miscarriage. At my scan they told me that the baby hadnt grown past 6 weeks. I had a D and C and everything was taken away or so i thought. Products had been left in the womb so I ended up with an infection. After the D and C I bled for about 10 weeks and since this time have had a dark brown discharge. Have been on many different antibiotics but it keeps coming back. Im quite worried that there is something more seriously wrong.

I'm sorry for your loss hun, can't imagine what you're going thru. You should go in at least to get checked to make sure there's no infection or any other problems and the doctor can tell you then what will be the best next step for you to take. Good luck and keep your head up!

I'm not a doctor but another member. My personal experiences have been that my next period as been as soon as the next month and as many as 3 months. So I would practice safe sex until you have your first period and thereafter till ready to try again. I do not know about safe or not. My doctor always wanted me to wait till I was feeling better. And depending on how far along I was.

I have a yeast infection and then started having diarrhea with cramping that feels like im gonna start my period. No blood yet but it feels like its trying to start. Im 8 weeks tomo so it would be about time for my period. Is my body confused or a miscarriage? My mom bled a bit each month for 4 months while preggo wigh me so idk? There are many possible reasons for your period to suddenly become very heavy including endometriosis, uterine fibroids, vaginal infection, hormonal issue, etc. YOur ob/gyn can evaluate you and let you know if anything is going on. There are treatments and medications that you can take to help regulate this, but you would need to see your doctor about it. Good luck.

You may have a urinary tract infection I would ask your dr and see what is going on. I have reoccuring uti's myself. I hope this helps. Let me know what happens..

Not if it was in the diarrhea... If you start bleeding from your vagina and are having cramps then its possibly a miscarriage but you need to drink lots of water if you are having diarrhea.

There's the risk of infection with any miscarriage. Even if you've stopped bleeding, that doesn't mean that everything is completely gone, and there could still be something to come out and having sex could make that happen - and so there is the risk of infection. That's why they say to wait 2 weeks just to make sure as you shouldn't be bleeding for longer than 2 weeks. I've had a natural miscarriage and a d&c and I was pretty much given the same rules for both.

Second reason is a medical issue or enviromental factors such as drug use, smoking or heavy drinking. That being said, in second and third trimester rough sex is probably not a great idea. t get treatment for antibiotics I ended in a miscarriage I was 6 weeks but the doctor thinks I had the infection before I was pregnant some people don't no that thay have uti it's best getting antibiotics to clear it up I'm not saying that the uti made my miscarriage happen but it can take a big role in your pregnancy
