You can get pregnant as soon as you start ovulating after miscarriage. These can be the signs of pregnancy or due to hormonal changes. You can test 1 week- 10 days after you miss your periods or you can test for pregnancy by a highly sensitive pregnancy test 10 days post ovulation with a sensitive ( 20 - 25 mIU ) pregnancy test.. Also I would suggest you to get your serum HCG levels estimated since this is more specific than urine for pregnancy tests.
A blighted ovum is a type of miscarriage in which the baby either never develops or stops growing at a very early stage in pregnancy and then disintegrates -- but a gestational sac does develop and the body does not recognize that the baby is missing.
Causes:
Doctors believe that blighted ovums are the result of chromosomal abnormalities in the fertilized egg. One 1993 study looked at the genetics of blighted ovum miscarriages and found abnormal chromosomes in 67% of the samples.
A chemical pregnancy is used to describe a very early miscarriage. There can be many causes but with these cases, very early miscarriages don't result in embryos or fetuses with a heartbeat. The fertilized egg may not implant well into the lining or it may even graze the lining just enough to get a positive test. These miscarriages occur around 4-5 weeks or so. Some women may not know that they have occurred.
Some women spot in early pregnancy (but not eveyone ) which is perfectly normal, Some might get the odd bit of brown bloody which is just your body getting rid of old blood, and others may bleed due to early signs of miscarriage, it all depends xx
Do you ladies know some signs of a miscarriage? I don't feel like I've had one but when I first found out I was pregnant at 6 weeks I felt pregnant far as being nauseous and fatigued but now that I'm 9 weeks I feel like I'm just fat and not pregnant. Besides the extra spit I have no symptoms. I know people ask these types of questions alot but it's weird for me because with my first pregnancy i felt everything the whole 9 months but this one is different.
In December I had a missed miscarriage. Baby stopped growing at 8 weeks, but I didn't find out til 9 weeks at my appointment. I had my first appointment 2 weeks ago and the heartbeat was 153 and everything looked good. I'm now 9 weeks and worried that something is going to happen. My breasts still hurt, and I get nauseous still and I'm tired, so these are all good stopped ignore that everything is fine right? I'm just really worried and don't want to lose this one either.

What causes a missed miscarriage?

I didn't have any signs with either of mine. With my first miscarriage in December I went in for my first big prenatal appointment at 11 weeks and the midwife couldn't find baby's heartbeat so they sent me for an ultrasound right away and there was nothing there, just a sac - it's what's called a blighted ovum. I had to have a D&C to basically have my uterus cleaned out, remove the sac and all that.
Did you happen to save the clot? If so, you could take it to a medical lab and check it to be sure it was not placental tissue or anything like that. If you are on the patch, it is awfully unlikely you are pregnant, but it otherwise sounds like an early miscarriage. One thing you could do to test this idea is to ask your doctor to run a blood pregnancy test, if it had been a miscarriage, there might possibly still be a small amount of hCG in your blood.
i had blown around 5 weeks and i had no pain to indicate a miscarriage... but 2 weeks with the same brwn blood i miscaried with no pain.. good luck hope u have a better outcome.
