Hello all! So, I was just diagnosed with BV (Bacterial Vaginosis) today. This is the first time I have ever had this and I am a little concerned. My husband and I are TTC and I was told by a friend that BV could cause infertility. I have had 2 miscarriages in the past two years, but don't want to give up trying. Anyone have any advice, experiences they would be willing to share? I am literally down to hear it all. Holistic, medications, diets...you name it, I want to know about it! Thanks!

s funny that this would not have come to light without all the infertility and repeated miscarriage stuff, but I seem to fit alot of the some of the symptoms for some hypothyroidism like chronic fatigue, depression, cold intolerance, and irregular menstrual cycles. But then again, I was also told I have some poly cystic ovarian syndrome, but my hormone levels in reference to that were normal as well.

Not a known cause of infertility. Has your ObGyn done any infertility evaluation on you and your partner? After nearly two years of trying, I would recommend an evaluation, either by your ObGyn or by a Reproductive Endocrinologist. This would include assessment of whether or not your fallopian tube are open, a semenanalysis, and whether or not you are ovulating. Good luck!
