your symptoms sound like a yeast infection to me. i'm not so sure if the miscarriage caused it.

Many women get pregnant right away after a miscarriage and go on to have perfectly normal healthy pregnancies. Some of the symptoms you are experiencing could be left over from your miscarriage (the pregnancy symptoms) and many doctors will tell you that is perfect normal to try again right after a miscarriage unless there was something wrong with the pregnancy ending. I treated it with Vagisil and the symptoms went away. Did I possibly miss the symptoms of a yeast infection that could have caused my misscarriage? After the miscarriage happened, my husband and I did not wait for my first cycle and had intercourse. I went to the Dr. this past Friday and I had another yeast infection. I am treating it now with Monistat 7. Could I be in the early stages of pregnancy again? Thanks so much?

Honey, there is almost nothing you can do to cause a miscarriage. Number one reason for first trimester miscarriage is a chromosomnal abnormality. Second reason is a medical issue or enviromental factors such as drug use, smoking or heavy drinking. That being said, in second and third trimester rough sex is probably not a great idea. But early on? No worries.

or some type of yeast infection? I have had like 2 yeast infections and this doesnt seem like same symptoms.

Hello.....I hope someone can relate with all of this.....cause I am tired of being sick & tired! First off I guess I'd like to give a little background. Starting in October 2007 my family has been hit with some pretty hard blows. 2 deaths, aunt's cancer came back, my grandma (who practically raised me) was diagnosed with breast cancer (she had a mastectomy & is recovering quite well). I had a miscarriage on 3/9 & had a DNC on 3/11.

Most likely just pain from m/c. Signs to look for with infection are things like fever or foul smelling discharge.(tmi) just keep a close eye on things. If you are still having pain in a few days I would see ur dr. I am sorry for your loss.

My OB office just called and said that I have a bacteria vaginal infection. My doctor screened my on Tuesday, like he does everyone. He said it was indentify a bacteria that causes preterm labor. I have had a big increase in vaginal discharge, but didn't think anything of it. I am really worried because I read that it can also cause a miscarriage. Anyone know anything about this? I am 8 weeks tomorrow.

s 16 and was about a month and a half along in her pregnancy when she had a miscarriage. The miscarriage occurred almost two weeks ago and since about a week ago she's been sick. She's had symptoms such as high fever, bad stomach pains, throwing up, and she feels tired but has trouble falling asleep. A doctor at the hospital she went to said it was after-effects of the miscarriage but it'd be nice to have more than one opinion on this.

Have you had your period yet? I think you need to make sure you pass everything once your period is over. There is a risk of infection if some of the pregnancy remains. I think they can check via a scan or something????

t have to bleed to have a miscarriage, bad cramps can be the only symptom of miscarriage you get, but get checked to make sure it's not a UTI soon! I had terrible cramps with my son, I thought for sure I was miscarrying and didn't, so it can be normal!

Nevetheless, I went throught the extrememly uncomfotable miscarriage pocess, but did not go and see my OBGYN for a follow-up post miscarriage. The reason for this is that I do not currently have insurance being a full time student. Throughout the months of Jan-March I did not regain my normal menstrual cycle. There were a few days in each month where I had a little pink in my discharge, accompanied by heavy cramps, but no "actual" typical bleeding.

The first two days were quite heavy but the last few were very light. After thats it seemed thats all the symptoms went away like sore breast and stomach sickness. I took a home pregnancy test on 8/17 and it was still positive. Could it be a false positive or could I still be pregnant?

Ok, I'm here because i'm extremely concerned for my girlfriend. For about 5 days, she's been having extremely dark brownish black vaginal discharge, to the point where, at first, I thougnt she'd had diarrhea. We had a night where we began (in the "heat of passion") to have unprotected sex, but quickly realized what we were doing, pulled out, and continued with a condom on. I did not ejaculate, so not much more than a slight bit of pre-*** should have escaped.

I am appx 5w 2d and I do not have very many symptoms of pregnancy. I had an ultrasound done last week and they saw a sac but said it was too early to see anything else. I feel a bit of fatigue and mild cramping on and (no blood). I had a m/c about 8 months ago so I'm just worried. I feel like I should be experiencing nausea or something. Is it just too early still?

No symptoms can be okay, just as long as you arent having miscarriage symptoms. Try to see a doctor. That will help ease the concern. Hormone levels fluctuate, though, so you might feel fine for a bit, then the nausea and fatigue might return.

Hi all this is my first time ever posting here, am 6 weeks pregnant and I have had no symptoms.. this is my 2nd pregnancy, had a chemical miscarriage earlier on this year so am soo worried and scared, my first ultrasound is in a week and I dont thnk I cant wait for that week.. Am I crazy to wanting symptoms to appear??? Pls help...
