Avatar m tn It is a shock to learn of a heart condition at any age, I could have cried when I saw the state of my coronary arteries at the age of 46. Taking advice from your Cardiologist and taking recommended medication can dramatically slow the progression of the disease and even halt it for many years. I think a second opinion will produce the same conclusion and if in your shoes I would start their recommended regime as soon as possible. First I would ascertain which form of cardiomyopathy you have.
Avatar f tn i'm 34 third child due June 6th! How old r u k1m6erly?
Avatar f tn My pregnancies all went well (except for my miscarriage of twins at 15 1/2 weeks, at age 30, and that one went quite well...till it ended with my water breaking and delivering all within 20 minutes with no pain at all....). My labors were all under 8 hours, including a 10 pound 4 ouncer (my 16 year old) and all were delivered naturally, no pain meds, the smallest baby being 8 pounds 10 ounces, no gestational diabetes, I just grow 'em big.
Avatar f tn They are by age but I do post in other groups since I hade my first 2 at 17 & 22.
Avatar n tn I am 34 years old but will be 35 at the time of delivery. This is my third child. My doctor wants me to get my blood tested twice 48 hours apart to check my HCG levels. I have never had any complications with any pregnancy. I have never had a miscarriage. I feel the same with this pregnancy as I did with my other two. Why do I need these blood tests? Is it because of my age? Thanks for any help you can give.
Avatar f tn My children are 7,5, 3 I had two miscarriages prior to carrying my first child to term (at the age of 34). With all of my pregnancies that I carried to term, I went on progesterone immediately following the knowledge that I was pregnant. My question for you? What are my risks of miscarrying without progesterone? I am concerned of my age and feel like I should just let nature take its course. . . .. .

Avatar n tn I know I might be a high risk mum at this age. I hv a pretty healthy and adorable daughter aged 3 now. I was advised by gynae to take amniocentesis test at week16th. It does frighten me. What are the chances of getting a bb with down syndrome?
Avatar f tn I have the non hormonal i.u.d almost age 34, what are my chances of conceiving in a year or 2? Of course I'll have the i.u.d taken out. Anyone else recover from i.u.d without damage?
Avatar n tn I was pregnant three months ago after trying for about 3-4 months, but unfortunately had an early miscarriage (at 5 weeks). My doctor ran a blood test for the "quality of my eggs." I just got the test result showing my FSH was 15.2. After some research, I learned that it is a high level which is not a good sign for pregnancy. Like many other women who are trying to become pregnant, I am desparate and want to know what is the chance I have and what I can do to increat it.
Avatar m tn m just curious about the ages of you ladies. I know a woman never tells her age lol but i thought this might be fun. Im 20 and this is my 1st.
Avatar n tn I'm going to be 41 next month, dh is 43. I got pg at age 39 but lost the baby at 20 weeks. So all in all, we've been trying for 2 years for #1. Can't believe how long it's been. It's really really difficult and sad.
Avatar n tn I am 34 and will be 35 when my baby is born. I was told I am AMA (Advanced Maternal Age) because I will be 35 at the time of delivery. Since labeling me AMA I have had extra tests (u/s) to ensure everything is ok. I was also offered Amnio, which I declined. Good luck, let me know if you have any questions, we are all here to help!!
Avatar f tn What would happen with a miscarriage at around 9 weeks. Like would there be blood clot or clots and what size would they be. Cause around the night of two days ago I had some pinkish discharge and then I started bleeding the next day and passed a little blood clot. Now the bleeding has slowed. Could this be normal or did I have a miscarriage?
898530 tn?1268618782 Hi, I know that at age 44 most doctors and statistics say that the only way to go is with donor eggs and/or frozen embryo adoption, but can anyone share their success stories or give me recommendations on what to try that might help? We have only had one failed IVF but that was enough to strain us financially and emotionally yet I don't want to give up and I am trying to keep positive. Please help...all advice is welcome. God Bless You!
Avatar n tn I had my first ever miscarriage Nov 2008, then 4 deaths in the family (one being my mother at age 55), and then my husband being laid off from work March 2009, so with all this loss I needed to see this amazing baby that is coming my way for reassurance.
Avatar f tn Hi there, in November, I suffered a miscarriage, i was 6 weeks into the pregnancy at age 31. This happened to be a 2nd miscarriage, first occured when i was 16. I have had a son in between at the age of 22. I have just found out i am pregnant again...took 3 tests to make sure as i took the tests 6 days b4 period. all tests have come out positive. My LMP was on the 10th December, that was the only period i saw after my miscarriage( was advised to wait 1 month b4 trying again).
Avatar f tn Hi everybody...I got married 4 years ago and I have been in the relationship for 6 years. Once we had everything we planned, college graduation, traveling, buying a house, getting married and then we will have 1 child only. I am a healthy woman ( so its my husband) and I had 2 ivfs because i didnt want to be pregnant after 40 so I rush to it and they both failed. ( can not imagine how i felt!) I didn't understand better at that time. but IVFs is 50% doctor and 50% nature.
Avatar f tn ve had a miscarriage i didn;t go see a doctor for that either. Could cervical cancer be a posibility at my young age.
Avatar f tn Im only 23 but I had my left ovary removed in 2007 at the age of 20 from a sacular cyst so getting prego has been hard. However myperiod is always spot on even with one ovary. I also have had really sever headaches,white-milky diacharge with no itching, burning or foul smell. I also have had mild cramping but not period cramps, bloating amd constipation. I have some raised bumps on my nipples with a thick discharge. Im not sure if or when should I test since the last day of my period is Friday.
