Thank you for your feedback. We would also love it if doctors would give out MedHelp's URL to their patients to help track symptoms. Then their patients could just click Email This on their trackers and send it to their doctors for review.
We could easily add Restless Legs as a symptom and Mirapex as a treatment to the Sleep Tracker. Would that work for you?
I loose a lot of sleep. I get in day and night. My arms even jerk and have that restless feeling. Mirapex is taken twice a day and don't help. No drs will address it and I'm miserable . Is this a lack of a vitamin or mineral. Do I ever get rid of them?
Hi Byron, I too have serious Restless Leg Syndrome...I don't know about the Monavie but what I take and is wonderful is Mirapex. I take it 3 times a day and have no restless legs unless I skip a dose or run out and then the RLS returns. I hope this has helped.
I am a 39 year old male that has suffered for years with restless legs, leg/joint pain, both of which have caused many sleepless nights. The pain is more noticeable during weather changes (doesn't matter if its warm to cold or cold to warm). My legs twitch almost constantly and is very noticeable especially when sleeping, I have been told i have had my legs have spasmed to my chest. I have also had multiple arthroscopic knee surgeries due to a parachuting accident when i was younger.
Hi I am wondering if maybe it could be ticks, I had exactly the same sort of thing happen when I was 10 ( I'm now 25) and after testing eeg, which was found to be abnormal I was put on tegretol and they went away allong with a fair host of other issues.

I developed what I think is restless leg syndrome 3 months after knee replacement surgery. In talking to a friend today, I found that she has had the same issues and she is taking the same antidepressant, citalopram. Has anyone ever heard of this drug causing these symptoms? I have been on citalopram for several years, and have not had many side effects until now. The symptoms are bad enough to interrupt my sleep.
Ask your doctor about mirapex. It's a parkinsons drug that has done wonders for me.
I have muscle leg, foot, arm and hand twitches. I was diagnosed, (among other things) with Restless Leg Syndrome (RLS). It does not necessarily only affect your legs.
There is also something called Periodic Limb Movement, but as I understand it, this only happens when you're asleep. RLS, on the other-hand, can be all day and all night. It usually is at its worse when you try to sit still at night.
ve been unable to get lethargy/motivation/depression wrapped up. I am treated for bipolar 2, severe restless leg syndrome and sleep apnea. Summer 2012 I finished chemo and radiation for stage 3 breast cancer (mastectomy 8/2011). Currently, I take Lithium 900mg, Mirapex 1.5mg, Arimidex 1mg, Xarelto 20mg, Iron 65mg and (vitamin)D3 2000IU. Lithium level is 1. I'm curious as to what might be my thyroid treatment?
