Avatar n tn last march 14-16, i had an unusual period that it lasts for three days, this is my first time ever. apparently, i had unprotected sex days before and during my period. My bleeding stopped then i had a week spotting (brown-pinkinsh-brown) then i had unprotected sex on march 23. Then the night of march 27, i had a red light spotting (bright pink-brown) that lasted march 30. All these cramps was associated with a light cramps and episode of frequent urinating, lightheaded, dizzy, nausea.
Avatar f tn I hate to disagree with anyone, but there are women that do have a rare second ovulation during their menstrual cycle. But probably what is more common when a woman gets pregnant 'on her period' is that she has sex during her period and the sperm lives a few days and she ovulates a bit early== wa la, pregnant. There is NO safe time to have unprotected sex. There are less fertile times but no time that is guaranteed to be safe.
2034425 tn?1329997021 Hi all... just had a miscarriage on dec.5th, 2011. Didn't realize I was gonna get pregnant again soon after. I consumed spirullina and omega 3 pills, only to find out today that I am 5 weeks pregnant and my Ob/Gyn said I shouldn't have taken them during early pregnancy. Is it gonna affect my pregnancy in any way? Is menstrual-like cramps normal, by the way? I told my Ob/Gyn this and she scheduled me for an u.s next 2 weeks to rule out ectopic pregnancy.. Wish me luck everyone..
Avatar f tn Yeah its normal to have cramps during the early stage of pregnancy and yes you feel bloated.

Early pregnancy bleeding can vary in amounts from slight spotting to vaginal bleeding consistent with a menstrual cycle. Another reason for bleeding during pregnancy is something called implantation bleeding. This bleeding usually takes place when the embryo is attaching to the wall of the uterus.

571415 tn?1217039962 Fatigue Fatigue also ranks high among early symptoms of pregnancy. During early pregnancy, levels of the hormone progesterone soar. In high enough doses, progesterone can put you to sleep. At the same time, lower blood sugar levels, lower blood pressure and increased blood production may team up to sap your energy. Slight bleeding or cramping For some women, a small amount of spotting or vaginal bleeding is one of the first symptoms of pregnancy.
Avatar n tn There are various reasons of bleeding during pregnancy so yes You can have PERIOD LIKE bleeding and be pregnant at the same time but not actual period.Very few woman experience bleeding for few months at the same time when they would have got their period if thery were not pregnant but thats very very rare and by the time they reach their 2nd trimester this stops.
Avatar f tn Symptoms are not a way to determine pregnancy because pregnancy symptoms and menstrual symptoms are very similar. If you miss you period your best option is to take a pregnancy test. Good luck!
Avatar f tn t be your fertile day so it may not have caused a pregnancy. However, the menstrual cycle is unpredictable, so the pull out method is not always effective since it MAY introduce a small amount of ejaculate in the vagina. Chances are, however, that you aren't pregnant and the symptoms you describe are common to BC pills too.
Avatar f tn Cramping is normal alot of women get cyst during early pregnancy. With my 2nd I had very bad cramping almost unbareable so I went to dr and.a cyst had ruptured. My pregnancy went fine after that. I would say if your not bleeding you should just take it easy and try not to worry if it gets worse, last more then a day or you start spotting I.would contact ur dr. just to be save.
Avatar n tn doc even told me to treat my body like i am still pregnant because some women bleed during pregnancy and everything is fine.. so now it is a waiting game like you.. i have to wait 2 weeks and then he is going to repeat the HCG to see if it is negative. .. what torture... i have searched every where on the internet looking for a way to expalin it other than miscarriage.. unfortunately everywhere usually said bleedign for more than 24 hours with clots is not good..
Avatar f tn Ok so ive read a lot about in early pregnancy you can have an increase in vaginal discharge. My fiance and i have been trying just over a year now for a baby. I was due for my period 2 days ago, and mine is like clockwork, never late, never early, every 26 days. Yesterday i had a few sharp pains in my lower right side but nothing like what my menstrual cramps are. They werent cramps it was just a sharp pain and it only happened a few times.
1305767 tn?1361192676 You take an early pregnancy test around the time your period is due that shows a faint positive. Naturally, you get excited and start spreading the joyful news that you're expecting. Then, a few days later you get your period and the doctor says, "It was just a chemical pregnancy." Meanwhile, you're left confused and possibly devastated. The term chemical pregnancy sounds like a false positive pregnancy test, as if you were not really pregnant at all.
Avatar m tn But if you want peace of mind, do a pregnancy test. I would not worry about the spotting at this point as occasional menstrual irregularities are not unusual.
Avatar f tn well you can't tell if your pregnant by symptoms and if your period was the 17th it would be a little early for you to be having pregnancy symptoms at all i would wait to see if your late or if you can't wait that long there are some you can take up to six days before your late it could be so many many things besides pregnancy(like stress) thats giving you this symptoms so try not to worry to much about it good luck
Avatar n tn On Monday I found out I was pregant. My last period started on 09-25-08 and when I took the test I was about 8 or 9 days late. On Tuesday, I started spotting and went to the ER on Wednesday. They did bloodwork and an ultrasound. My hcg level was 101. I was told that I could be having a spontaneous abortion and to follow up with an ob/gyn.

Avatar f tn Thanks for posting. I did take an ept pregnancy test 2 days before my period date. It was negative. I also started my period. It is a little lighter but I read it could be because I've been stressing over the thought of being pregnant. There's no reason for me to take another test right?
Avatar f tn well i took one just a few minutes ago and it came back negative but i still dont understand why my period came early the 15-19th when it was supposed to come on the 20th, i would like to have your imput.
