lump lower leg

Work out on occasion but that is just as of recently. For a few years I have been experiencing a sporadic pain in my right lower leg. It's more so located inbetween my calf and my shin on the inner side. When it's not hurting, you can feel a lump but it's very small, like a cm in diameter. Every so often though, it's very painful and it's almost as if it swells up (the lump that is). Sometimes I am sleeping when it happens and it's so bad it wakes me up.

Hi i was wondering if anyone can help me, I have had a lump in my lower left leg for 2 years now every now and then it swells up and gives me pain its in the left leg and its about 3 inches above the ankle in a straight line it gets really painful gives me pain in the the bottom of the foot and in the ankle and also this might sound strange but it sometimes feels as if someone is dripping cold water down my leg, does anyone know what this could be. How long can a swollen/bruised muscle last? I still have a 4 inch long lump raised about 1/4 off the lower outside part of my leg next to my shin. I really don't want to have to go to the Dr. if I don't have to, just curious if it is abnormal for a muscle/tendon to stay swollen for that long, been exactly 2 weeks today.

I have a lump in my lower leg its on the side just above my ankle, I have had it checked out and the doctor that seen me just said it was tissue, but now i have burning in my leg and and one of my veins just above the lump as risen on my leg and it is now giving my terrible pain. I am flying abroad in the next two weeks and im am now really worrying about this lump because i have a toothache feeling in my leg and burning. Can anyone relate to this or has anyone heard about something like this?

The feel or consistency is similar to a lump on my lower back; it is neither really soft nor hard, it feels like a small rubbery lump and you can push around with your fingers. I also have one on the side of left leg, about 10 inches up from the knee. This one is smaller, but harder. In addition, I also have two on my right leg, about six inches up from my knee.

It even got to the point whre it hurt to touch the lower part of my leg. This lasted a couple of months. Then a lump appearred on the back of my lower leg when the pain started to ease up. The lump is about 4# long & 2" wide & still tender. I don't have a family doctor or medical insurance. I have a nother week until I will see a doctor. It is a little scarey for me since cancer runs in my family. Any Ideas as ot the posssible causes?

So I've had this big lump in my lower right leg for weeks. At first I thought it was just a bruise. Cus there is a pink spot. It seemed to get bigger now and is as hard as a bone. It hurts to push on. My feet and ankle hurts when I walk to. And they feel kind of numb. Idk if that has to do with it or not. I'm worrying. What if it's a blood clot or something..

- I have been having intense leg pain in my upper left thigh that extends down to my lower leg, mainly the underside of my lower leg, for almost 2 weeks now. - There is also a small lump (?) of some sort inside the skin of my upper thigh on the same leg. In addition, I often have severe leg cramps in my lower/left back of leg that shoot down and freeze my foot into a weird position. I went to a podiatrist when it was just the toe numbness. He thought it might be a neuroma. I got a shot of cortizone. Didn't help. I gave up on it and figured I'll just deal with it. But now the lump feeling and the cramp is just driving me crazy. Any suggestions what it may be, or what kind of DR I should see. Should I get an MRI.

I'm 16 and a virgin and about 2 days ago I found a small lump on my labia majora. It's only about the size of a pea and hasn't grown or shrank or made any changes over the days I've noticed it there but I've also noticed a pain sort of in-between my leg and lower abdomen which wasn't present when I first found the lump so I don't think its related? I have exactly the same symptoms as the person with the painful leg and ankle and wondered what it was. Well if you had been diagnosed with antthing.. I am in a lot of pain and it appears to be getting worse not better the pain is now in my groin... Symtoms... A painful lump in that location is most likely to be from a deep hematoma (deep bruise that bled into the area and formed a lump. Do you have normal sensation in that lower leg? I can't imagine the circumstances that it would be a tumor or cancer. There is a specific injury that occurs there which is a bruise to the side of the shin. It can bleed under the periosteum, which is the sheath surrounding the bone. Sometimes these do get infected and become an abcess, so Sally was right.

m 8 weeks pregnasnt with my second child and I am really worrying right now. Randomly last night I looked at my leg and felt a small lump on my lower left calf and it hurts to touch and feels like a lump when you touch it. Looking at my leg you can't see anything abnormal about it at all not even where the lump is. It looks slightly barely like a bruise. I read online dumb things and now am scared of like a blood clot. Hi there, For the past 3+ weeks I have been getting these really itchy and super painful lumps on my right lower leg. They start out like a little bite/pimple, then become very swollen and hot. They often end up turning black in the centre with an evident hole in the middle. At first I assumed they were insect bites, however, I had completely cleaned out my house and car with insect spray, and they are still appearing. The first one appeared when I was overseas in Bali 4 weeks ago.

My right lower leg symptoms had been periodic but now more severe and constant. From the knee down, it feels as though my leg is going to sleep. It aches and feels weak. Now also noticing numbness and tingling in my right foot. I have not had any recent injuries or changes in activity. This was bothersome more at night when I was trying to go to sleep. I was wondering if anybody could help me with my situation. I hit my leg on concrete very hard the other day and now I have a huge lump on my leg and I don't know what's going on. i have been having pelvic pain on the left side as well as lower back pain and leg pains both on the left side as well for about 2 weeks now. A couple days after they started they got so bad to the point where i was in tears. What could it be? kidney infection or something? hi, while showering this morning i noticed i had a fairly big lump under my leg, about 1inch x 1/2inch, that seems to have sprung up over night, because i didin't feel anything there yesterday. It is a bit sensitive but isn't painful. Any idea what it could be? Maybe a muscle knot or something of the like?

i have a lump under the skin on the inner side of my right ankle which is very painful to the touch. it also sends a very sharp shooting pain to the lower part of my leg, i have had this lump for almost a year. i was referred to a specialist who initially thought it was a ganglion and he tried to drain some fluid from this lump with no success - very painful process.
