Hi, i've noticed this lump on the left side of my lower abdomen which appears only sometimes. I can only feel it when i am lying down, and i usually have it first thing in the mornings. I have noticed that it dissapears as soon as i have bowel movements. I have no pain or discomfort. Could someone please advice on what this could be?
i am 30 years old .healthy ,but i feel like i have a lump in my lower abdomen ,no pain maybe size of ping pong ball.what could it be .and is it my muscle .what could lumps in bellys be.is it something i should worry about.and i am shy to tell anyone about it cause maybe its my muscle.and i also have problems with constipation ,does it have anything to do with it.do i need to check it?
i have a lump that comes and goes in my lower left side of my abdomen. dr. said the ct scan was normal. i had a total hysterectomy 5 years ago because of severe endometreosis. it had adheared my bowel and bladder to my uteris. had to have bowel and bladder cut away and then a radical hysterectomy. dr. said go see a surgeon. i was wondering if anyone ever had a hysterectomy and then problems like mine a few years later. i go to the bathroom fine everyday.
hello, ive got a ride sided lower quadrant stomach lump that blows up before a bowel movement and then completely disappears when i go. it is most predominant when i need toilet.
i had blood tests incl. CA 125 and full blood count etc and all came back normal.
i have no other symptoms.
im due a scan on wednesday but i am terrified as i also suffer from very bad health anxieties.
anybody kindly have any ideas please, desperate?
Anyways. What im feeling is that in my lower left abdomen. From the crotch to right under on the left side on my bellybutton is a lump.
Its about 13 cm long and goes about 1 cm to about 5 cm wide at the top.
It was sore at first when its wasnt this big. Meaning it was just as long in the beginning, but not as wide. More like 0.5 cm wide.
now a week has passed and it only grows.
Its not sore or painful anymore, but now it just bugs me as i can feel it pressing against my jeans and such.
Occasionally I have a stabbing pain all over my lower abdomen too, like someone is sticking needles into it, and when I had this pain last night I pressed on my tummy to see if it was tender, but when i pressed on lower abdomen, i felt nothing, but when I pressed on upper abdomen-just over my naval, I got pain in my lower abdomen!! I also find it hard to completely empty my bowel, like I just can't go, and occasionally when I have to push when i need to pass wind.
I had a CAT scan of my lower abdomen done and a Sonogram of my lower abdomen. I DID NOT however get a testicular sonogram done. When I squeeze the smooth lump on the top of the testicle, it gives the SAME feeling as when I get kicked in that area. It's up through my left abdomen as well and I even have a little swelling in the left gland in my neck. Could this be some kind of lymphatic infection??
About 2 months ago I got a big lump (size of quarter coin) in my lower abdomen, right hand side. The ultrasound results said that it could be a fatty lump. For the last 2 weeks I am having a strong pain (cramps) in my lower abdomen, it has been so strange because it doesn't happen every day and it comes only at night and next morning no pain at all and when it hurts the lump gets bigger and very sensitive.
Does somebody know if this is normal?

I am a 23 year old female and have been suffering with abdominal pain for over six months. The pain is in the lower abdomen and particularly on the left side. I also feel the pain on the left side of the pelvis (around the illiac crest area)and into the left groin. The pain in the abdomen is often worse after eating but not every time I eat. There is a localised small lump in the groin that is very sore to touch - im not sure if this is a lymph node?
1. Why am I having lower abdomen pain and swelling near my groin area?
2. What kind of infection do you think I have? What infection is it possible to get from a ********?
3.will the swelling and lump/bump go away on its own
4. Do you think anxiety/stress has anything to do with these things because it's been a month and all I do is think about what I did.
5. Is it possible for me to have a infection/STD which a doctor can't detect?

hi all, i found a lump in my lower abdomen a few months ago and finally had an ultrasound a couple of weeks ago, the radiographer said he had no idea what it is and the surgeon says he thinks it is a sebaceous fat lump, which m gp says means hes not really sure what it is!! i am due to have an excisional biopsy in 10 days time, im not sure whether to be too concerned or not, well ok, i am a little concerned as i dont know what it is!!

I am a 31 yo male and I have recently been having a dull aching sensation in my testicles, into my groin and up towards the sides of my lower abdomen. There is no swelling in my scrotum and my testicles are showing no signs of swelling or lump. ie they feel smooth when I've checked them. I dont have any pain when I urinate.
Does anyone know what it might be, is it a sign of testicular cancer?

I've had this long lump about 1-2 inches in the left lower abdomen for about 3 week. I heard that you would only get it if you are constipated, but I use bathroom regularly and only get constipated once in a while. Just wondering if anybody knows anything about this... Sometimes it's painful and that lump part feels swollen all the time. I can feel the lump almost right beneath the skin, and it's really hard.
It is a result of a weakness, tear, gap or opening in the muscle wall of the lower abdomen or groin through which the contents of the abdomen, such as intestine, may protrude through the muscle creating localized pain, pressure and a feeling of heaviness.
I suggest you to get this lump examined from a surgeon to confirm the diagnosis.

I recently found a small lump below my belly button to the left. I went to the dr. and he immediately asked me how are my bowels? I have been going to the bathroom regulary however after he mentioned that, I have noticed that when I have a bowel movement my waste has been somewhat "hard" and also "broken up" its like small peices coming out as apose to " a log" or "logs". lol.
I found a small lump near to my colon and lower right abdomen. Now im really scared I have some kind of cancer, my bowel movements haven't changed and I haven't lost weight. But could this be early stage cancer. Im so scared, I cry nearly every night. I have very weak abdominal pain, but it might be worry. I went to the doctor and she said it was PROBABLY an anal tear, and the lump was just muscle, to me this doesn't sound professional and I don't believe her.
