mine is a more direct pain on a small lump beside another smaller lump to the left above my belly button and below my ribs, closer to belly button. the size of the bigger one is like a peach pit maybe. it seems to hurt more at night and I can't feel it standing up.

Heya i was just wondering if anybody could help me i am having my 3rd child and a lump has appeared above my belly button i havent had this before and it hurts when theres pressure on it.

I also felt this but around 15 wks. I also thought it could be baby but it felt quite strange almost tender to the touch..I think it could've been contractions since the bulge didn't disappear when I stroked it, whereas now that I'm feeling baby a little more, when I stroke the area, there is movement ..almost like baby going in hiding or changing position/direction.

I have sharp pains and a small lump about 2 inches directly above my belly button. the pains are so bad i can't sleep. food soothes them very briefly but then they return. what could this be?

When pregnant both times my tummy muscles split. The past 6 months I have had a lump above my belly button that comes and goes. Since having my c sections I sometimes experience a tingly, prickly burning feeling from my pelvis up to my tummy making my clothes uncomfortable to wear. Over Christmas the lump returned and I had to wear lose clothing as it was so uncomfortable. The lump has now gone again. I'm not sure if it could be a Hernia? Scar tissue? m 17 weeks pregnant, 18 weeks on Tuesday, I got my first braxton hick (well hard lump on my belly) after sex last week and it was a decent size like vertical next to my belly button, I got another braxton hick yesterday but the lump moved, it was situated like a ball on my bikini line, and again tonight it's exactly the same. The size is so much smaller, should I be worried? This is also first pregnancy so lack knowledge!!!

had a laparotomy last march to remove some fibroids and a uterine suspension. Sorry there is no way your baby is under your boobs especially at how many weeks you are , your baby is in your womb that is 100 percent nowhere near your boobs even if your uterus did come up high quickly would only be to belly button maybe just above and that is if ... its for some reason come up higher sorry your doctor doesnt know what hes on about im short to.

t know where to ask this but I have a simple question probably hard to diagnose over the web. Above my belly button, well almost a part of the ring around the bellybutton. If I push on the top part around my belly button something sort of moves around. Its not a hard lump its skinny and its pretty soft. Is that what everyones belly button feels like or can that be a hernia. I only ask this because I cannot really remember feeling this but then again it may have always been there.

i have a hernia above my belly button. It started with my last but further on in the pregnancy however this one started when i was about 17 weeks... like you mine is painful when i eat or doing anything strenuous. Mine didn't cause any problems in my last pregnancy but this time round they are keeping an eye on it. They won't do anything while pregnant unless it puts your life at risk so unfortunately just gotta get on with it...

Before I go on I must say that it is NOT a part of the baby sticking out - my OB has confirmed this. When I initially asked my OB about it it was near my belly button and he told me it was most likely scar tissue. But since getting further in my pregnancy (I am now 34.4 days) it is getting more prominant. I have a friend who has a lump in their belly button. I think I recall it being reddish brown, but apparently it does not hurt, does not ooze, or really do much at all, except get irritated if she plays with it but nothing extreme ("Like if a kid keeps pulling your ear lobes all day"). It was a noticable bulge around my belly button that never really went away. I could push it in but it always popped back out. Another thing I thought of when I read this is your muscles seperating which makes a bulge when your laying down and kinda crunch upwards like your going to do a sit up. I have that also from having so many babies, but I believe you can get it with your first also. If its painful you should get it checked ASAP.

I'm a 25 yr old male. In the middle of my upper abdomen, I can feel a hard lump under my skin. Its about 6-7 in. above my belly button and about 2-3 in. below my chest. I'm not sure if its a lump or bone. If I'm sitting down, I feel nothing and nothing feels out of place. If I'm standing up, I can kind of feel the lump and nothing feels out of place. If my laying on my back, I can feel it. My energy levels have been normal. My appetite is still nowhere near what it was before.
