Could you send me a list of some of the best you can think of when ever you have the time. I would like to listen to some as well...

I played dj at my baby shower. rather than blaring my heavy metal and annoying my guests, I chose to stream some upbeat rock songs from my phone to a bluetooth speaker. that just played in the background and was more than sufficient to add good mood to the atmosphere.

More along my lines. I like to listen to something depressing such as anything by Nick Drake or Syd Barrett and work those feelings out. Then having gotten over them I move on. I tend to listen to cheerier music when I am hypomanic. Its only recently after recovery from psychosis that I am aware of it but the music I listen to matches the affect I am in. As for Pink Floyd I know as a kid growing up, that half of the kids when they felt angry at the world listened to "The Wall".

I used music tremendously during w/d....i had it blaring all the time. I believe, for me, depending on the type of music, it can totally change your attitude at any particular time. My husband says ive made our kids deaf with how loud i play it, but i dont think so. In the beginning of w/d i wanted heavy metal, but i found that made me feel worse....i had to find something else, i used upbeat, happy dance music with a heavy bass in the beginning....I like Sia alot....

Totally love getting back into it and i find it makes the tv go off more! I tried to find upbeat, positive songs that helped me push through the bad parts. In fact, still have headphones in now. Definately therapeutic!

Sorry, I am not sure how anyone can really see the "real" you through this "acting/rapping" video; too fake and a bit goofy. I would have rather seen you being videotaped doing your favorite hobbies or something pertaining to your "real" life with a nice music track or your favorite songs made into a music track in the background. Doesn't work for me. And a woman in the video? Why? You are supposed to be looking for one.

I dont really know how it goes all the way but it drove me crazy the first few nights of detox. I also thought of songs I listened to when I was heavy on pain pills.

Give her an iTunes if she likes music of het her songs with encouraging and upbeat music. She should get second opinion. Surgery is likely and she will be sore and uncomfortable and should move around so she won't get blood clots. Call and say you just want to say hello.

Oh and I also LOVE Ave Maria too, it's one of my favorite in church songs! One year during our Christmas Mass they brought in a special musical group for Christmas and the singer who sang Ave Maria was absolutely amazing and actually made me cry it was such a powerful rendition of the song. But that's also on the top of my list too Judy!

Or maybe even try like, making a CD or play list for the car filled with songs you love...upbeat songs that you can like, blast and sing along to haha. That can be fun, and get your mind off things...just an idea. Good luck!

How long does it take to get approval? They have started the Insurance and said that it would take a couple of weeks for the insurance. What happens after the insurance is approved? How long for the testing process?

I notice baby moves around a lot if I put on a sermon of my pastor,then she also loves upbeat Disney songs, she balls up like she is going to sleep when I play twinkle twinkle little star or if I sing a soft song to her. Just figure out what she likes! She could just be like mom what are u doing?
