We always have music on in our house, so usually it's anything and everything. Although I do listen to Sam Smith rather often and now I'm further gone it's funny cause she kicks like crazy as soon as one of his songs comes on. Hopefully it will send her to sleep once she's here but with the amount she kicks she's more likely to have a dance than sleep lol.
i know there have been a lot of posts on music, but u can never have too many goodsongs. i find some songs help through cravings and stress etc. music has helped with this addiction for sure. if you guys have any good songs, especially those u can relate to using or songs that have helped you i would love a list, im gonna make a cd this weekend.
t really like kanyes attitude, but a few of his songs are pretty good. And I love pinks just give me a reason too! And I do like rock and roll too lol...i told you my tastes in music are all over the board lol!
There is NO way I can narrow this down to one choice!!! LOL I have a very wide range of music that I love listening to-from heavy rock like Panterra, disco-Blondie, and classical Mozart. I'm not a huge fan of country music-I will admit to liking a few songs, like Carrie Underwood's-Before He Cheats (title????).
Im big into country music... Absolutely love it, Diamond Rio, Gareth Brooks, Dolly Parton.... Give me a goodcountry song any day!! Theres a song by diamond Rio called "We all fall down" and I love it. Mainly as it kinda sums up how this year went for me this past year or so! It has such meaning... I listen it to in college when Im doing my thesis.. Just to keep me going!!!!
Guys, I know this isn't a song forum but everyone gives such good answers I know somebody will be able to help me. I love a song Hank Williams sang called Jambalaya on the Bayou lol. It's country and I'm sure most of you have heard it. I am dying to download the full song to my blackberry. How do I do it for free? I have googled it but all I find is ringtones and those last 11 sec. I have heard phone out there with entire songs as ringtones and I don't know how to do that.
Suggest you stay off whatever makes you sad. There's an infinite amount of other music you can try. Good that you have recognised what 'sets you off'. You have the cure in your own hands. Nothing wrong in not wanting to be a rock star. Good Luck.
Oh and I also LOVE Ave Maria too, it's one of my favorite in church songs! One year during our Christmas Mass they brought in a special musical group for Christmas and the singer who sang Ave Maria was absolutely amazing and actually made me cry it was such a powerful rendition of the song. But that's also on the top of my list too Judy!
welll, now that im over a week the physicals are gone and i actually have felt the best i have ever felt going thru this im not trying to thnk about about the future which usually scares the sht outta me just kinda going with the flow, but music has always been apart of me and got me tru stuff so i was wondering if any of y have certain songs that either lift ur spirits or get u over the humo from thinking bout bad thoughts or usung or old days or even songs that mayb u cant listen to anymore cu
Definitely 'Nothing Else Matters'
It reminds me of when I met my husband. He loves Metallica. He'd play that song very often. Good times, good times....
your right those 4 are in a league of their own nobody else can touch them,,and to think Clapton taught himself on a guitar with missing strings as a young kid,,,,he played by ear..
