3360193 tn?1365871889 Had a good day with the baby daddy today - firstly our professional photos arrived the other day so we got them framed and I've uploaded one on here for people to see if they want to, then it was our local fair day so we took the wee boy even though he is too young ot understand it - and babes slept the entire time, didn't wake up with the noisy motorbikes, pipe bands or brass bands going by, he didn;t even notice lol.
Avatar f tn Walking, riding the bike, etc..or any type of cardiovascular is good to start woth.
Avatar f tn I would pack the above plus pads because u will be bleeding . A change of underwear. They give u diapers there. Of course the carseat and a baby blanket. Youll just need one baby outfit cuz the baby cant wear it till u leave. U need an outfit to leave in. Maybe some slippers to be comfy. Oh and change for the vending machines.
8023513 tn?1404352955 Bag of quarters for ur hubby to get snacks and drinks out of the vending machine. My husband was so grateful I packed a baggie of change.
Avatar f tn Agree with doublevision. Lupus might be on the list with matching O-bands along with one or two others.
5597711 tn?1370821338 m not very good at reading bloodworkresultspeak, but I see that there were 2 o-bands found in your CSF. I did not see any mention of o-bands found in your serum (blood). For o-bands to be relevant to MS, they should be unique to your CSF. This means that there are more in your CSF than in your blood. I had non in my blood and >5 in my CSF. Is there any mention of O-bands in your serum anywhere in your results?
Avatar m tn if your talking about 2+ (or 4+ depending on the lab test) the presence of oligoclonal bands always indicates an immune response which must be further investigated, your central nervous system is actively involved which is diagnostic evidence of a physiological not psychological causation and has nothing to do with mental health conditions as far as i'm aware!
1194973 tn?1385503904 Here's a list of foods/drinks that should be avoided, as well as foods that you can try to keep down. Remember to never start or stop anything without speaking to your doctor first though. Things to avoid would be some of the follow: Greasy, fat foods. Fried foods. Gravies/heavy foods. Try to eat small meals throughout the day. Avoid large amounts at one time. Take small breaks in-between eating and try to eat slowly.
Avatar f tn Good question. The IGeneX list of Western blot bands I printed out *seven* years ago (and still taped to my wall) has "nine known Borrelia burgdorferi genus specie specific KDA Western Blot Antibodies (bands): 18 23 30 31 34 37 39 83 and 93." The article (which may still be posted at truthaboutlymedisease [dot] com) then lists the IGeneX Western blot breakdown line by line.
Avatar n tn Mine had "O bands" on the report. They usually give a number of what was in your specimen. I also had a list of other disease and things that they looked at. Do you have the report?
Avatar m tn O-bands mean inflammation. What is important for a finding of MS is if you do not have any o-bands in the blood serum which is drawn at the same time as the LP. The test is only a piece of the puzzle with your symptoms and other test results. There are a whole host of diseases which could be determined by the CSF findings but not by the test itself.
1749417 tn?1331996992 This is interesting. You say the list of symptoms goes on and on... do you have joint pain? especially in the knees? neck stiffness, headaches? muscle pain and joint pain that moves around?
Avatar n tn What are "bands" in the diagnosis of Lyme disease??? My wife and I have received negative results for our tests for Lyme except for "Band 14". and were told "not to worry". Can anyone tell me what that is??? Or direct to me to a website???
Avatar f tn Thanks to everyones comments and feedback. Im feeling well today but I still get some type of seizures where I am awake. I have blacked out once though with them. The spasms affect my throat wherw I'm incapable of speaking clearly or at all. Ive had MRAs that look good as well as VCS of my legs. My MRIs have lesions in the corpus callosum/ preventricle areas as well as cerebral cortex and throughout cerebral hemisphere.
Avatar f tn Try the pressure point sea bands. If You've never heard of them they are wrist bands you can pick up from Walmart. They help with nausea & morning sickness and have worked very Well for me. Anything is worth a try!
Avatar f tn My sister in law told be about sea bands, the motion sickness bands, and that seems to help me with some of the nausea in the morning. I notice I sometimes have to force myself to eat in the morning and I feel better with that and the bands. Or there is some ginger gum for pregnancy too. Haven't tried that yet. Hope this helps!
632011 tn?1234347109 s so good to me, with all of this.---As for the next day, I wanted in the worse way to go to work, cuz of good ol' finances, but opted not to.---The lab that did the Lp called the next day to see how I was feeling, and if I had any problems or questions.--Which I thought was very nice of them!!!---And she/they told me, they understood I wanted to go to work, but siad it was NOT a good idea, cuz that "dreaded" headache can come at any time.
984138 tn?1359813073 Others here may be able to comment, but it may be that the tests you got don't show bands -- the basic tests don't, I believe. I can't tell from your comments what tests you had done. The tests that have 'bands' have a list of different bits of Lyme and other bacteria, with each of the bits having a number, and next to that number, there are either no marks (meaning not found) or a list of +++ signs (meaning the bit was found, with more +'s meaning more bits).
613536 tn?1294238447 Anybody remember that list that was posted about safe medications? If you happen to know of a good website or know where the post is, could you please repost it or let me know - Thanks!!
Avatar f tn oligoclonal bands are present it over 90% of patients with MS, but may also be found in CSF with [here they list a number things I'm too lazy to type in]" sho
